a/n: HI! i got this idea of like sharing earbuds and honestly i think its adorable!! I’ve been kinda busy but I’ll still try to produce some writing This one is self indulgent HAHAHA anways i hope u enjoy

Slotting one side of the earphones into your ear, you and Nazuna begin your daily routine, sharing earbuds as you make your way down to Ensemble Square. It was always with Nazuna’s earphones and a random playlist in his spotify, presumably his favourite songs. 

After a few songs played, a familiar melody began to blast through your ears and oddly, it was one of your favourite songs. 

“I didn’t know you listened to this song too Nazuna!” leaning over his shoulder to look at the remaining songs in the playlist. 

“W-wait” Nazuna stretches his arm in the direction away from you, clearly attempting to obstruct your view. “You can’t look! Absolutely not!” It was certainly weird wasn’t it, it was just a playlist, nothing unusual. 

“C’mon Nazuna, a little peek can’t hurt-” leaning into him a little more, causing his grip on his phone to loosen. Promptly catching the phone, you swiped through the playlist swiftly, your back turned towards Nazuna, despite his pleas and attempts to retrieve his phone. 

“Nazuna…” the reason why he didn’t want you to see the playlist was because it was a playlist of your favourite songs, and to top it all off, it was named “y/n <3”. To Nazuna, you realising this would probably count as one of his most embarrassing moments yet, but to you it is one of the sweetest things he has ever done. 

Removing Nazuna’s hands from his slightly flushed face, you continued “this is so sweet, and how did you even know all my favourite songs? I never mentioned them” 

Upon hearing this, his expression morphed into one of confusion, “hmm you mentioned them once or twice, then i guess” linking hands with you “I'm just accustomed to remember everything you say to me”

i officially declare the nazuna nito struggle in this au

first of all. Hi!! Hello Nazunon and Anon!!! and a big hi to @neptunite-stars too cuz we're gonna be discussing their ideas too! im making this a list or im gonna go crazy crazyiwascrazyonc-

Powers! (not weapons, we'll get there later)

First (1) option! Healer! Nazunon says to tone down his healing powers while anon says to keep him op to show the great loss he was in Valkyrie. Gotta agree with Nazunon in this one, even if Nito is only in the final battle, a healer with no restrictions is wayy too op and would make the audience feel like there's no reason to feel worried for the main team, because even if they get hurt they can just heal and go back to work :/

A way to prevent this (using Nazunon's example!) is putting conditions! A few ideas are that he can heal only a certain percent (some bruises will keep hurting and cuts may not fully close) due the stressing situation they are, or he can transfer the bruises to his own body, as a way to represent his caring personality yet tendency to take too much. Orrr following Yosano's(BSD) powers as example, he can heal others while hurting them, directly contradicting his personality and making him reluctant to use his powers unless is strictly necessary (kind of -1HP but +5HP per hit lol)

2nd option! Support! Can buff his ally or debuff the enemy, or mabye both, idk. A buff idea is reinforce the clothes/armor of his allies (+DEF/VEL) or weapons (+ATK/VEL), and for the debuff ma~ybe inflict little but progressive dmg, maybe where whenever his attacks hit will make the enemy feel numb which can make them unknowingly ignore the cuts and bruises others make them.

3rd option! straight up a Tank. Also starting with the Weapons and Neptune's ideas. What's the weapon that would make the little guy a walking menace, you ask? A big pair of scissors is answer! like, almost as tall as him. It *has* to be that big to be used as a shield, and when it's closed it will make the shape of a sword!

Very delicatte looking, but strong metal! It has to be able to cut heads after all hahaha!/hj

Now going back to supports/healers, i've got the classic options, staffs and books.

Needle staff and antique books (yes they're from genshin but i didn't really wanted to design the covers, but you get the idea).

The staff has a little floating threads mess in the center from where i think infinite threads should come out, but for specific purposes, like heal or reinforce allies for his healer/buff thing, or he can stab the needle in the ground to make the threads go for the enemies foot, forming sewing patterns on the ground, keeping them trapped in the place.

And the books can have like a bunch of magic/alien fashion history that Nito has to study in depth to properly cast whatever he needs. Need to heal someone's deep cut? gotta know how to do a medical stitch in detail. Wanna tie up someone? study how to properly make the knots or take the risk of them escaping.

Anyways! Those are my takes for Nazuna's weapon/rol, hope y'all enjoyed it. I dont plan making any of them 'canon' unless i make a poll about it or see a bunch people directly saying they preffer a specific one (probably).

okay okay okay so prologue starts with shu in france talking to like. kuro on the phone (shocking!! he never calls anyone except mika) kuro talks about doing something with nazuna and shu goes quiet for a second and kuro is like "oh sorry" and it makes shu a little ticked off because he hates that its still weird and fucked up between the two of them and he wants to be nazuna's friend again because he's grown a lot since the old days. kuro encourages him a bit and then they hang up and shu books a flight back to japan

kuro mentions this to nazuna and they talk about the past and stuff theres kuronazu bait in here because i love them ANYWAY fast forward shu and nazuna get to have that aforementioned conversation and shu basically says something along the lines of "is there anything i can do to properly apologize to you?" and nazuna really doesn't think he needs to go that far they're both adults who are capable of having a normal conversation but he also is like this is the perfect opportunity to torment him a little bit so he tells him he has to join ra*bits for their next live that they're currently working on, and they have to do a new song together. shu is like oh of course i would be honored etc. and nazuna is like no no no. i get most of the creative control and shu is like wh. what do you mean and nazuna is like we'll perform together but it will be with MY ideas. full ra*bits style. he's going to make shu put bunny ears on. shu has a momentary WHY I NEVER moment but then he calms down and is like no. what nito is doing is also art and i should not shy away from challenge this is what growth is about so he agrees and nazuna says he will get back him with some outfit sketches tomorrow. he posts something on social media like "big things coming for ra*bits soon! maybe even with an appearance from another familar unit?" so he can't back out now

shu talks to mika about this because of course he does and mika has a normal grrr jealousy reaction like he does often especially because its nazuna (you booked a flight home to see nazunanii and not me? type of deal) and he says hes not going to let him perform on stage with nazuna without him. they have a bit of a fight (predictably) where shu says that this is his problem and that its his responsibility to apologize to nito because its not mika's fault and yada yada but mika is Stubborn so he says hes going to tell nazuna to put him in it regardless of what shu wants and storms out.

mika and nazuna end up having like a whole conversation because even now mika still has a bit of resentment towards him for believing that shu was beyond saving and that mika should've left him and nazuna properly apologizes to him for saying that, and he thanks him for being there for shu when no one else was. he admits he still cares about him and always did even if their relationship has been strained for a long time. mika ends up also apologizing for being immature and admits that it was fair of nazuna to resent shu considering the way he used to act back then and he also admits that he missed what the three of them used to have even if it wasn't healthy. nazuna says something like they still have the opportunity to make something new that's not the same but not in a bad way, since they've grown and are new people now. mika probably cries and nazuna gives him a hug

at this point we probably get the post valkyrie divorce make up scene that they have every event like this is their thing no one else gets it but its their thing

im not particularly versed in writing the babits but part of this event also definitely has to do with hajime considering how he felt about nazuna performing with valkyrie again in the past. i imagine he's conflicted of being happy for nazuna about reconciliing with his old unit but also afraid that he's going to leave him and jealous of what the three of them have sorta. i imagine nazuna is like briefing shu on all of the ideas he came up with so the ra*bits juniors and mika end up alone together at some point and maybe go out and do something together for Bonding Reasons i don't know this part is loose and hajime warms up to mika a bit more. mika and all of ra*bits also spend some time together while shu and kuro are working on outfits since the live is so soon and its cute

by the end of it hajime gets the verbal confirmation from valkyrie that they are not stealing his niichan from him that he was looking for and all is well and good

anyway towards the end they hold the live and the outfits are Embarrassing by shu standards they're probably in bunny ears and bloomers and high socks and cutesy lacy blouses. a little bit ouji styled? mika is fine with this i mean he was already a bunny in puffy bunny but he's feeling anxious about wearing the same cutesy outfit as nazuna and all the other "small petite people that oshi-san likes lookin' at" etc. but shu tells him it looks best on him and he's ecstatic about it and then nazuna teases him about being soft with mika

the ending portion is mainly introspection about the past and the future and growth i imagine the whole thing takes place in spring for thematic reasons. nazuna sort of praises how far shu and mika have come since they were in a unit together and they do the same to him etc etc its sweet. nazuna tells shu at some point that he didnt actually need him to do anything to apologize he wouldve accepted it anyway he just kinda wanted to mess with him (and he calls him shu-chin at the end of the sentence). shu is like YOU- no, no i deserved that, actually and then the three of them laugh abt it

and then the final epilogue is exvalk getting brunch together like several weeks and being normal friends again the end :)

ADDITIONALLY:

assuming this was a real event this would probably be kind of like the twilight pentagram dawning angels event thing? like its a song event and a tour in one

the song title is something cutesy like all of ra*bits' songs are and i imagine it has the word mirai (future) in it somewhere

there is at least one mika 'ngaahhhh' in the song and also several portions of mostly nazuna and a bit of everyone else poking fun at shu a little bit. him being embarrassed is part of it

the 5*s are shu and nazuna naturally and its the kind where the cards are like mirrored. like the hiiro and tetsu cards where they're fighting or those subahokke cards where they're holding hands except they're back to back on stage

hajime and mika are the 4*s and tomochin and mitsuru are 3*s

Izumi prefers to stay in his comfort zone, an area of familiarity that provides him with endless amounts of solace. He’s quick to decline any of his friend’s requests with excuses that he’s extremely busy, his schedule never having enough time. But oddly enough, the moment you invite him to an outing, he couldn’t ever bring himself to decline. 

It could be a simple walk down to the nearby shop down the corner, he’s up on his feet and making his way next to you, even if he does so begrudgingly, he’s the one ushering you to quicken your steps. No matter how many times you ask, he always follows. Sometimes, out of habit, he accompanies you, you don’t even have to ask anymore. 

The activity could be as tiring as picking strawberries with the sun beating down his skin. He could practically feel the sweat dripping down his back. But his grumbling immediately halts when you place a strawberry at his mouth, prompting him to taste its sweetness. He could only think at that moment, your smile could probably be the sweetest. 

The different experiences continued on and on, and to tell the truth, it wasn’t the activities that he enjoyed. What he enjoyed most was the company you provided, your happiness was his happiness. 

You certainly led Izumi to do many firsts that he never realised he would have done. His many experiences all with fragments of you within them, that he would surely treasure for a long time.

Wanting to get to know you better + Nazuna Nito

Nazuna was content with just watching from afar, watching the way your eyes lit up when you talked about something, or the way your laughter could brighten up a whole room. But there was surely something about your magnetic energy that caused him to be more curious about you, eventually leading him to attempt to know more about you. 

He leans in whenever you both share a conversation, he’s clinging on to every word, to ensure that he doesn’t miss out on anything that you say. His ear is close to your mouth, as he listens intently. No matter how insignificant it may sound to you, he makes sure to show sincere interest in what you’re saying. Be it a little chuckle or a nod of his head. He wants you to continue, he’s listening. 

Nazuna asks you a lot of questions, he hopes he isn’t being nosy with the way he tries to strike up a conversation whenever he has a chance. It always starts with “how’s your day”, if it went well, great ! Tell him about it, he would love to hear more. If it didn’t go too well, he still would like to hear it, he ensures to say the right thing to make sure your spirit is lifted, even if slightly. 

He remembers your contagious laugh, or the crinkle of your eyes when you smile a little to much. Nazuna could never say so, but he feels slightly accomplished, as if his ego is boosted, whenever he is able to see your features show obvious signs of happiness. He wants to be the reason you laugh and smile, the reason why you’re happy.

It was a rough day for you; waking up late, your work piled on to you for the day increased by tenfold, and now the crystal tears poured from the sky. You sighed for who knows how many times today now, but all you knew was it’s still a long way from home. Eyes lifeless almost, you carried on walking towards homes under the crying sky. Soon enough you made it home, drenched, cold, and exhausted.

You fiddled your hand into your pocket to pull out a small quaint key to unlock the door to your apartment. Inserting the small metal piece into the slot, gently yet quickly twisting the key. You trudged through the silent hallways, slipping off your shoes as you made your way to the kitchen, getting a cup of water to soothe yourself. However, that didn’t help at all.

All you wanted to do was lay down and sleep. You were so exhausted that you felt like you could pass out at any given moment. You didn’t care about how drenched you were; you just wanted to sleep. However, a particular blonde rabbit came out of a room without you knowing. “Huh, s/o? Wait, why are you drenched?! Come here!” Nazuna quickly rushed to get a towel as you practically waddled your way to him. Nazuna draped the towel over your hair, drying it first and then draping it around your shoulders. “Why don’t you go change first, okay?” You simply nodded and headed off to your warm to get a set of dry and warm clothes.

After you changed, you made your way back to the comforting aura Nazuna emitted, the living room. You sat next to him, leaning your head onto his shoulder, closing your eyes for a little bit, but to be interrupted by Nazuna. “Hey, s/o, what’s wrong? You seem way out of it; let’s talk about it,” Nazuna gently took your hands into his and endearingly stroked his slightly bigger hands over your small ones. You gave in as you felt so vulnerable, “It’s just been a tough day, Nazuna…”

Nazuna listened to all of your problems the whole time, not saying a word. He wanted to let you finish your vent before saying anything else. You wanted an answer from him, but you didn’t expect the answer he gave you was completely different than you expected. “You look like you need a hug, come here,” Nazuna turned his body, opening his arms for you to snuggle into. You gave a teary-eyed face as you slowly accepted his hug, sniffling and tears finally falling.

Nazuna gave a surprised face but nonetheless gave a warm face, “There there, Nazuna’s here, why don’t you tell me what happened.” He wrapped an arm around your waist and stroked the top of your head in a comforting manner. “Calm down, deep breaths, deep breaths, I’m right here,” Nazuna whispered gently, still stroking your hair as you silently sniffle and sob into his chest.

“Works been really rough... It’s just been increasing more and more, and I can’t handle it anymore,” Your voice so tiny that it’s hard for Nazuna to hear. “So that’s what’s going on…” Nazuna nodded his head as he brought you closer to him than you already were. The two of you guys sat in a comfortable silence, no other words being exchanged between one and another. Nazuna gently cradled you, his touch warm and comforting.

Soon enough, you were fast asleep in his arms, tears no more, but your face a bit pink from all that crying. Nazuna let out the quietest of a chuckle and weaved his hands through the silky strands of your hair. He’d listen to the soft snores from you as he placed a gentle kiss on top of your head and gently whispered, “I’m always here for you.” Not long after, the two of you were both asleep, sound asleep in the warm embrace of each other.
