Cordiality in such a place—a place lying enshrouded in the ever looming desperation of those condemned to ‘live’ in such an institution—was rare, indeed the doctor’s first instinct was to withdraw, to scoff, to lash out and stake a claim to (their eyes!!) god knew what—

For all pretenses Azuna’s presence was meant to make things easier for all involved and it did—but only on the surface. The underlying reason—the t r u e reason—was far more enjoyable, far more real and viciously fitting: having such a talented doctor on site prolonged the prisoners lives. Not in regards to their sentencing; no nothing in the world could stop that, but it kept them from injuring either themselves or one another. Her being there gave him—not to mention Cathy and the small number of people involved in their little experiment—more time to play their game.

So when she showed up downstairs on his floor with a mug of coffee and his papers—papers he had mistakenly left upstairs on some table somewhere, silly Daniel!—he smiled at her graciously. It was a smile he generally reserved for the most downtrodden. The children he spoke to saw it a lot, the prisoners less so.

Alright, I did not see the livestream, but I did see the live reactions on Japanese twitter, so with the power of google translate and insomnia here's a breakdown on some of what happened:

Makoto Sanada is a woman and according to the watchers, has a cute voice. I also believe that manga artist Kudan Nazuka is also a woman, but that's a bit more unclear

During the stream they shook little dolls of Zack and Ray around for fun

I believe there's a drawing of grown up Ray with a white t-shirt and jeans

In the live reading, Zack and Ray impersonate Danny (lol this is where I started to wish I was watching)

For the trap before the syringes, they did a mix of the anime's dollhouse and the game's two paths of death

After Zack iconic line of begging Ray not to be killed by him, it switches to his POV for a bit

After the rendition, they discuss the OP and ED for a bit from the anime

Also discusses how there was a chance of adult Eddie

Apparently Sanada is working on what I believe to be a new game, and what it's about is still a little unclear to me, but I'm guessing it's going to be a game about wizards/witches. But what's for sure is that she's planning her next work.

Also towards the end, the 6th anniversary tag began to trend on Japanese twitter, so whoot whoot 🎉🎉
