After the holiday stress and all the work to set up my new computer I finally sat down to draw yesterday <3 I'm hoping to find more time and motivation to draw this year, let's see how that goes!

Learnt about pygmy hogs the other day and immediately fell in love!! and then I figured Naye'fi would love them too probably and I decided to do a little sketch and then I spent the entire day drawing this ;; v ;;

I'm not mad tho, I haven't drawn young Naye'fi in a while and she looks as cute as ever <3

Oh oh! OC Questions! Ok so uh for your OCs - 3 to Naye'fi and 13 + 31 to Syllian? Aaand for you: A) for any character of yours :3

Oh yay!! Thank you so much for the ask!! ; v ; I already answered number 3 for Naye'fi actually so... I'm gonna expand a bit on my answer! :> Since Naye'fi never leaves Sezahjen's side she tells him (but mostly herself, let's be honest) bedtime stories at night. Sezahjen did a bit of storytelling when Naye'fi was just learning how to talk. She asked him for stories, and he tried. Until Naye'fi slowly took over heheh Her imagination is much greater than Sezahjen's and she can get carried away telling fantastical stories about magic and heroes and knights and princesses. Funny enough tho these stories also ended up helping to ease Sezahjen's nightmares. Naye'fi doesn't realise, but Sezahjen is quite grateful for that :> And for Syllian: 13) What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color? He prefers gold and dark blue, he believes it compliments his ginger hair and I'm inclined to agree with him heheh But I'm surprised how well he looks in other colours too, like... pink for example?? He's so pretty! ;; A ;; "I look good in every colour, darling. I'm sure everyone can see that~" 31) Who are they the most glad to have met? Hmmm... Let me think, that's a bit difficult to answe- Xah'jo. It's definitely Xah'jo. Syllian loves a lot of people and falls in love with a lot of people, but he's never met anyone like him. There's something about Xah'jo that absolutely enthralled him from the moment they met. It started with professional curiosity that turned into an appreciation for a fellow thief and eventually... Xah'jo became his new home. After being cast out of his family home for not following strictly in his father's footsteps he felt he could finally, truly be himself with Xah'jo. He treasures that more than anything.

Naye'fi - 3) How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

Veez - 12) How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?

Syllian -  32) Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke? 

Xah'jo - 35) How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive?

Sezahjen - 38) What memory do they revisit the most often? 

You for Mannah and Yeriya - E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?

Ayyy!! Thanks for the asks! Naye'fi 3) She's a big fan of bedtime stories actually! She often tells them to herself (and Sezahjen) tho, since she always sleeps close to Sezahjen and he's not very talkative. In later years she probably sings to herself a lot and daydreams about her favourite stories :> Veez 12) He always carries his gun or a bottle of liquor, that's usually good enough hahah Syllian 32) Not just one probably! He likes to talk and has a whole bunch of stories ready to tell at all times! And a poem or a song. He will probably end up singing a ballad he wrote. He'll definitely end up singing. Xah'jo 35) He can be brutally honest and will at best react with indifference and at worst will judge his friends harshly if what they're excited about sounds stupid to him. However, if it's something they're 100% serious about, he won't hesitate to drop everything to support them. He won't admit it tho. Sezahjen 38) He doesn't revisit any memories. His past was quite traumatic and he avoids ever thinking or talking about it. He is being haunted by his memories tho, especially by the one of his father's death and his subsequent banishment from his tribe and family. E) Mannah is a sweetheart who gets along with everyone (who isn't a total asshole) so yeah, I'd assume we'd get along too! (Actually I want her in my life so bad, where's my orc wife plz?? TT A TT) Yeriya is much more judgemental tho. She's headstrong and stubborn and I would not wanna have to deal with her when she was a child! As an adult she might be less "stubborn" maybe, but I think we'd still annoy the hell out of each other! xD I love her tho!

Sorry it took a bit to answer your ask, but I'm so happy you like Naye'fi! <3 I'd love to tell you about her!

Naye’fi is generally a happy, bubbly girl, good- and open-hearted and loves the thought of adventures and meeting all sorts of different people. However, she doesn’t really know how to act in social situations and tends to be quite awkward and naive, as well as impressionable and dependent. This is because Naye’fi was adopted and raised by my pink boi Sezahjen, who himself isn’t good with people and mostly tries to avoid them. He found Naye’fi as a baby and decided to care for her as best as he could, but since they are always on the move, travelling and never staying in one place for long, Naye’fi doesn’t get many chances to meet new people and make friends. However, she rarely complains and instead takes every opportunity she gets to visit towns, often to run errands for Sezahjen and selling flowers, herbs and sometimes potions. She tries to make the best of her situation, collecting pretty things she finds, like stones, flowers, and seashells, telling Sezahjen all sorts of stories, singing and dancing. And one day, so she hopes, she’ll be surrounded by friends (and maybe even find her one true love~).

Hey, what brush(es) did you use for the Naye'fi sketch? It looks incredible, nice job!

Oh thank you so much! I'm happy you like it! <3 For the lines I used "Perfect Pencil (with tilt support)" for CSP. It's probably my favourite brush ngl, I use it all the time :D And the brush I used for the "colours" is the "Sycra Watercolour" brush (that one doesn't seem to be available online anymore sadly) I probably used the basic airbrush too for some of the gradients and the turnip pen to fix what the watercolour brush missed, but yeah those two are the main ones :> Hope that helped!
