Anyone else find that the longer they write for a character in a fandom, the more they find that some of their earlier/initial headcanons or writings with that character become...obsolete in a way? (I don't know how else to phrase it; it makes sense in my head, but the words just... won't lol)

She has a human home, but no one really pays attention to her or realize she's there most of the time.

What is their ‘role’ within the tribe, or what are they known for? (Ex: Tugger is the curious cat/rockstar, Gus is the theatre cat, Mistoffelees is the magician, Munkustrap is the Jellicle Protector, Jelly is seen as a caretaker, etc)

She doesn't have a role. She considers herself, more or less, a bystander or a wallflower.

Who are their best friends? You can include characters from the show or tag other people’s OC’s. How popular are they?

She is a shy one and hasn't introduced herself to most yet. But she is close to Bandit, Cosmo, and Tim. Atticus, though she has only ever talked to him formerly, she considers him a nice Tom.

What is their favorite food? Do they prefer human food or something they’ve hunted?

Meat meat meat. Cooked, raw, She loves meat of any kind. If not meat, She's very fond of fish too.

Do they have any accessories? Scars? Why or why not?

She mostly wears shorts, tank tops and black thigh highs. She has a collar, but its too itchy and doesnt like wearing it.

What style of dance do they work best in?

She doesn't have a preference. She likes the look and feel of all dancing, but doesn't have a lot of confidence in her abilities.

Do they have any sort of magic? Do they fear magic?

She has no magic. She's a bit spooked at some magic, but she does like most of it.

Any fears?

Quite a lot. She has sensitive nerves. She can get a bit nervous around dogs or even sometimes rats.

Do they believe in love? If so, what is their “type” and how do they act when they are in love? If not, then why?

She believes in it and hopes that she'll find it sometime in her life. She has more than enough crushes on a lot of different cats and is always a mess when near them. Shell jump at the chance if anyone shows/ confesses attraction to her. But if she's in love, she won't notice that she's finding herself spending more time with them and opening herself up more.

Do they personally know anyone who has gone up to the Heaviside layer? Do they believe in the Heaviside layer?

She has heard bits and pieces of the Heaviside Layer. But she doesn't know anyone personally.

Any passions or hobbies? (Ex: Dance, hunting, etc)

She likes singing when she's alone. She's actually really good at sewing and likes making clothes and stuffed toys and what not. Shell sometimes play with the kittens in the junkyard.

If a song was sung about them at the Jellicle Ball, what would it be about?

Probably about how much of a poor, hopeless cause she is. Some feel sorry for her, some try to make her feel better, and some would tease her and sing about how high strung she is about everything.

What are their thoughts on some of the main characters in the show? (Ex: Tugger, Munk, Jenny, you get to choose!)

She has a crush on nearly half of them. But really, she has so little a presence, some of the MC's don't know she's even there half the time.

Do they have any secrets they are hiding?

She's pretty tight lipped and doesnt mention it often, but she kinda keeps her past homes a secret because she doesn't like to think about it.

What are they like on the outside?

She's shy and socially awkward from how sheltered she was and how long she had went without socializing with other animals.

How do others perceive them?

A lot mostly see her has this timid, skittish; someone afraid of their own shadow. Might even think she's a bit troublesome with how little confidence she has in herself or how she doesnt assert herself. Basically a doormat.

What are they actually like on the inside? Are they similar to how they are on the outside, or totally different?

She's still shy and awkward, but she is also very sweet and kind towards other people. As much as she worries about the constant idea of people taking advantage of her, she doesn't want to change that part of her mentality. Shes a good listener and would offer a hand or anything shed be capable of. She loves children and is a little better talking with them.

How many cats truly know who they are on the inside? Does your character often show who they truly are?

She tries to, she really does. She knows how much trouble she puts herself through with how she is now and is trying to be more assertive and talk more. Not a whole lot know. Just her close friends really know her real nature. She can open up more when it comes to kittens because she thinks they are easier to talk to.

What makes your character appealing to other cats? What reason do others have to like them?

She is kind and patient to smaller kittens and animals and has a very quiet and calm demeanor. In a way thats what makes her approachable. Some cats like her sewing/knitting skills and would ask stuff from her and that makes her feel good about herself.

What flaws does your character have? Do they give anyone any reason to dislike them?

She is afraid of all sorts of things and that can get sort of irritating to some. Her social inaptability is also a problem for her and some people don't have that sort of patience and she knows that. Her biggest problem though is her inability to fend for herself with how prone to teasing she can be.

Can they fight?

No she can't.

Do they often get into fights? What do they get into fights over?

She tries desperately not to. She's not strong and doesn't know how to fight at all. She'll mostly cower or try to talk out of it.

Who are their parents? Are they alive? Do we know what they are like personality wise? Does your character have any sort of contact with them?

She knows she has a mother, but hasn't even met her and only vaguely remembers what she looked like. She figures she may or may not have rejected her, but tries not to think that. She doesn't know if she is still alive or not still. She might be able to find her if she looked hard enough.

Do they have any siblings or other relatives?

She does. about five older siblings, but they more or less considered her a stranger rather than a sibling, likewise her. She was considered a runt and had to be taken care of by her first human owner.

(If they have a home) How did they end up in their current home? (If they’re a stray) How did they end up on the streets?

She went through a pretty fair amount of adoptions at a very young age. She is now on the streets because of how little her current "owners" cared for her and made them let her out for whatever reason they thought at the time. They still haven't wondered about her whereabouts.

What was their childhood like?

Her first home mostly consisted of her moms' owner taking care of her needs before she was given to another home. Her second family couldn't keep her long with how their older cat would hiss and scratch at her. Her third and current family didn't really pay her any attention other than feeding her whenever she started crying. She was very lonely in this home and would just laze around and paw at the door to be let out.

What was the worst experience they ever had to go through, in their opinion?

A couple of experiences, but one that stayed in her mind was the older cat from her old home. She was a real bully and really affected her self esteem.

Do they potentially have a crush or a mate? Have they ever been in love?

Nothing too serious at the moment. She has a couple of crushes and has a friends with benefits thing going on with Bandit, Tim and Cosmo. She has yet to find anyone she thinks she'd want to spend her life with.

Who do they look up to?

Confident, and bold Queens like Bandit or Bomba. She wants to be as confident and beautiful as them.

Greatest achievement?

Any time when she speaks up or stands up for herself or someone.

Do they have any pet peeves?

She doesn't like when people crink their necks, the image freaks her out a bit.

How do they react to a compliment? An insult?

To a compliment,

To an insult, she doesnt have the guts to stand up yet, and just takes it and tears up a bit or apologizing.

What are they best at?

Sewing/knitting/crotcheting, taking care of/playing with kids, and singing (by herself).

Talking and being part of a crowd for now. But is working on it right now

What assumptions do others make about them and how does your oc react to them?

She has been made fun of a few times already and was bullied seriously once in her life. Shell try to ignore it, but if its bad or gets physical shell end up crying.

She only speaks english.

Mostly through her sewing. She doesnt have a lot of outlets and hasnt explored anything new yet.

Nothing serious, but her anxiety makes her worry about every little thing even when there's nothing to worry about.

Why did you decide to make an oc?

The idea of a Jelliclesona sounded really cute and I ended up loving her a bit too much haha.

How did you pick their name?

Its one of my many nicknames my family calls me and I thought it sounded cute enough for her.

Are they modeled off any specific breed?

Not any in particular, all that I could think for her is that she would be some sort of a brown tabby mix. Her technical traits are unknown atm.

Are you currently in a rp with your oc?

Yes

Why did you pick that design for them?

All just because of my favorite things to lodge around in. The thigh highs are just personal aesthetic.

He is one for cuddles, just rather picky about who. Say if it were Quaxo, who I ship him with, or a kitten/brother in need of comfort. That's when the cuddling comes in. They can tuck under his mane for warmth in the cold. Otherwise, he doesn't want to be seen as too "soft," and will avoid cuddling.

He accepts affection, actually loves it from those he's close to, but grumbles about it.

He's the youngest out of the Deuteronomy brothers (Either Macavity, Munkustrap, and Tugger or just Tugger and Munk depending on my mood).

Munkustrap and Deuteronomy agree that he should be a Jellicle Protector, and he's very well suited for it, but he much rather continue his own life style. Deuteronomy accepts this decision. If things get bad though, he'll be there right by Munk and Alonzo's sides to fight for his tribe.

He has a bit of a rebellious streak, obviously. He likes to do what he pleases whenever he pleases. He affectionately bickers with Deut and Munk (sometimes just to get on his brother's nerves,) but at the end of the day he knows his place. He trusts their word and respects them.

Due to all the attention he gets whenever he graces the Junkyard with his presence, he tends to spend a bit of time away from it. He's a bit of a loner, and will take early morning/late night strolls by himself to think.

Yes, he can be rather stupid, but behind all of that goofing around he's rather contemplative. He reflects a lot on what has happened previously (unless it's a short fling), and about what he is to the tribe.

Most of the time he's a complete dumbass though. Shamelessly flirts and flaunts himself, egotistical to a tolerable degree.

Very direct. Says what he wants (or what he doesn't) clearly.

Likes to tease and mess about. Occasionally he'll go roving with Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer for the thrill of it.

He spends a long time grooming himself in front of a large mirror shard, just to make sure every tuft of fur is in place.

He sometimes takes care of the kittens when needed. He's their cool kittensitter.

Bisexual, obviously, and polyamorous by nature. His relationships are open but he genuinely loves who he's with, and there are special sides of himself he reserves just for those cats.

He does have a human that he visits occasionally, but most of the time he's in his den near the Junkyard. Whenever he does visit his human (who interprets him as a close stray), he likes to mess about. Gets stuck in bureau drawers and yowls like he's in absolute pain.

Like my own cat, he'll ask to be let out only to holler to be back in again. He'll take a few bites of food and then leave, only to be back shortly after.

Usually knocks unbreakable items off high surfaces. Such as plastic cups, because he just loves making a mess to spite his human.

He's hard to actually tick off, but you don't want to see him mad. Afterwards, he might sulk away from prying eyes, because he fears he cares too much about things.

He's either overthinking or not thinking at all — usually the latter.

Munkustrap's done with him. He doesn't bother scolding him for his antics anymore, because he knows he does most of it on purpose. Nowadays, he only rewards him with an eyeroll.

If he were to genuinely go too far, though, he's getting an earful. Two of them. Three. However many Munk thinks it takes to get through his thick skull.

He often gets too hot under all that fur. He likes to cool off with some water, whether it be a shallow lake or some drinking water. This is part of why he doesn't enjoy cuddling so much.

He's known Quaxo/Mistoffelees for a long time. Since he first came to the Junkyard after being left by Macavity (his biological father — again, my mood and the AU decides this) and adopted by Bustopher Jones, he made an effort to get close to the shy and aloof cat.

He was probably one of the first to spot Mistoffelees' magic because of this. That's why he presents him as so marvelous, because he knows what he's truly capable of.

Switch, with a top lean. He doesn't like feeling vulnerable unless it's with someone he really trusts.

Often thinks that the cats don't care much about him, and wants everyone to like him. He worries that if he were to dissapear, they'd soon forget their little crushes or thoughts about him. The opposite is true.

Whenever his human tries to play with him, he acts uninterested. Only to come around when they're in the middle of something, absolutely off the walls.

His biological mother may be Grizabella, but I'm undecided there.

HOUSES: rumples a gryffindor. the sorting hat took about three seconds. alonzos a hufflepuff even tho his family have always been ravenclaws and he desperately wanted to be a gryffindor, he cried after the sorting ceremony also: jenny is huffpuff head, skimble is p much hagrid, jelly is raven, gus is gryffdor and grizabella is slytherin,,, headmaster deuteronomy lmao

PREFECT STUFF: alonzos a prefect. Obviously, i mean come on. he takes it so seriously,,, hes already dating rumple when he becomes one and she delights in the fact that he can sometimes b persuaded to let her go with a warning bc yo thats what u get for fucking a prefect,,, once she wanted to get in ravenclaw tower and she didnt know the answer to the riddle so she was like "LONZYYY I HAVE A RIDDLE THAT I NEED TO FIND THE ANSWER TO FOR HOMEWORRKKKKK" and hes a library fiend so he spent like an hour looking it up and then he told her and she was like "ok thanks im going off 2 ravenclaw tower now" and he was so distraught he took ten points from hufflepuff for helping her. the other prefects Donut Understand their relationship ghdkhgd bc mungo and rumple r worse than fred and george but eventually it gets to the point where they catch her doin some rulebreaking and shes like... do u seriously feel like dealing with me so they just go get alonzo. she gets drunk on firewhisky one time and he takes her back up to gryffindor tower and spends ten minutes trying to get the fat lady to let her in but the fat lady is annoyed and refusing and it goes like "rumple tell her the password" "nooOooOoOooOo" "do you know the password" ">:3c" "rumple teLL HER THE PASSWORD" for another half hour and eventually gives up and decides to wait for the next gryffindors to come along and let her in but the next one to come along is mungo and then its twice as bad when alonzo becomes head boy (munk is the year above them) he cries, and rumple opens her letter like I GOT HEAD GIRL??!!!!????? and hes like. What. and shes like hehehehehe just kidding who the fuck do u think i am,, also. prefects bathroom. he ends up letting her find out the password and then shes constantly in there and then Somehow (i wonder how) mungo finds out and then they have to change it before the whole school knows,,, oh my god the other prefects tease him so much and at first hes like eh..heh...yeah but after a while hes like fuck off please, stop shittalking my girlfriend to me, and he gets a wee bit defensive about it so they give up especially in their final year when hes head boyyyy

CLASSES: ive forgotten like all of their classes kmn anyway alonzo wants to be an auror. thats all he wants. thats his ambition. so he studies his ass off from day one and gets perfect grades and is a model student. rumple is. perhaps not. just think fred and george thats her and mungo, shes a terror but somehow she still manages to pass everything through an annoying natural talent. alonzos kind of hellbent on making her get good grades and they spend much of their time in the library, hes in there Every Day, he pretty much has a reserved table, rumple sits around practicing jinxes on any unfortunate passerbys and trying to pester him and/or make him kiss her he loves presentations, hes so good at them, he prepares for weeks and then the entire time rumples in the back of class making Naughty Gestures. he chokes on his water when she does presentations theyre short but shes really charismatic so he just kind of sits there staring at her like an idiot because gosh she has a nice voice rumples a pro at brooms obviously, alonzos Hella Nervous on them, he has the best and safest model, she offers to give him private lessons but really its just an opportunity for dick jokes what can u do. he gets her a really good really SAFE and fast broom for christmas one year bc what else does a rich boy get his girlfriend who kicks ass at quidditch which brings me to

other cats: yes ok here we go. in their year is misto, victoria, admetus, mungo, coricopat, tantomile and im sure im missing people here, year above them  is munk, tugger, deme, bomba, cassandra, macavity (???!!!???) and everyone else is younger by a year or two, also worth mentioning is etcetera being rumples younger sister and theyre adorable and lovely etcetera for president of the world munk and cass or deme are probably head boy and girl of their year,  cass is dating tantomile, bombas dating demeter, alonzo has the biggest crush on munk as well (optional polyamory for u fucks) (worth saying that the reason rumple went to sneak into ravenclaw tower was to see victoria btw),,, alonzo and victoria are head boy and girl of their year, and probably jemima andddddddd idk maybe g eorge fuck me man idk admetus is another prefect, so's tantomile tbh,,, id say victoria but she wants to focus on her studies

PETS: alonzo has this beautiful eagle owl, scariest of all owls, her name is aegoleius (pronounced ay-JEE-lee-us) it means bird of prey and he adores her. shes beautifully trained. rumple has a kitty that im personally in love with who is basically rumpleteazer as a cat lol shes a calico but her name is gwenog after the famous beater of the harpies <33333 eventually they'll get another cat thatll be a suspiciously familiar black and white patched triangle shorthair named Faolan (sorta like FWAY-larn) even tho it means little wolf because he thought it sounded cool and he read it in a book and thought it was pronouned faow-lahn, honestly they probably end up getting a whole ton of cats

LIFE AFTER HOGWARTS: WOO im excited for this bit. okay. so. alonzo wants to be an auror. hes spent his whole life training for this. he immediately applies after graduation and gets in and starts his rigorous three year training process. in the meantime rumples gone into professional quidditch, and shes really really good at it but shes like.... this isnt fun anymore. bc its not just a school game anymore, its a professional sport, and what do u mean u cant jinx the opponents!!!! so for a while she just helps him train "ok so if you walk like THIS and use this charm your footsteps will be totally silent blah blah boh my god i should be an auror" and hes like. You. want to be an auror. and shes like. Yup. and its a damn good thing he was so obsessive about her getting good marks bc her newts are good enough that she can apply. they do a criminal record check, but mind u that altho rumples done naughty stuff, shes never actually. Been Caught doing anything particularly bad. so her record is somehoW CLEAN and she gets in. its a miracle. "what did you do. who did you blackmail" "i sucked every single aurors dick lonzy" "HOW DID YOU GET IN" "EVERY! SINGLE! DICK!" but hes also really really prouD AND THAT MEANS THEY CAN HELP EACH OTHER TRAIN!!!!! cue training montage. rumple pulls a tonks and coasts thru a lot of it rlly easily and almost fails some but they both eventually graduate and become aurors and work together and she covers her trenchcoat in patches and he keeps asking if he has to wear his because sweet jesus it is ugly ITS BROWN, and at this point his parents r more than content with rumple lmao, anyway they live together in a lovely little house that is kept in perfect order, rumple enchants EVERYTHING to talk, its cute, fucking domestic shit yes please

HYDRATION LOL look this isnt even important but alonzo is so deeply into that health shit. he only eats dark chocolate, and most importantly he fucking loves spending time in the kitchen with jenny. she cooks, he makes custom face masks, and also infused water. so much infused water. he has different """recipes""" and he always has a bottle of lovely chilled water with fucking apple and ginger and lemongrass shit in it that he made the night before, and since rumple fucking hates drinking anything thats not tropical sunshine punch fruit juice he constantly is trying to figure out a recipe of infused water that she'll drink becUSE ITS NOT HEALTHY RUMPLE!!!!!!!! YOU NEED WATER, but she thinks its disgusting and eventually he gives up and carries a bottle of juice with him in case he sees her because its better than nothing,

She lives in a nice mansion with her rich, widowed old owner and servants.

Her owner adopted her because of her eyes and thought they were as beautiful as sapphires and topaz's. Lazuline is her pretty little princess and pampers her rotten. So she has a pretty glamorous life! Everything is handed to her on a silver spoon and platter (figuratively and literally), and if she doesn't get something the way she likes it, she will whine, cry, or (heaven forbid) scream.

She doesn't visit the tribe or junkyard too often. Even when she does, not a lot of the cats care too fondly for her or think she's a handful. But she is still just a child and doesn't know any better. She's definitely coming around though. She'd probably be known as "The Little Princess Lazuline".

She doesn't really have any friends. more of acquaintances with other well-off housecats from rich homes. She's starting to realize how lonely that can be.

What is their favorite food? Do they prefer human food or something they’ve hunted?

She will only eat the meals the housekeepers make for her. Her personal favorites are lamb, cooked tuna slices on top of steamed lettuce along with a small side of carrots or asparagus. Her favorite snack is banana cream cups with strawberry or blueberry. She doesn’t get it often so it's a very special treat.

Do they have any accessories? Scars?Why or why not?

Oh, she has a room of drawers and more drawers of NOTHING but her accessories. Mostly in Ballroom Dance styles. Depending on her mood, she can be steady like Waltz dances or upbeat like Foxtrot.

She always thought magic was just something in fairy tales. The first time she saw real magic, she was absolutely blown away.

Any fears?

She'll never admit it, but she's afraid of thunder. She'll immediately find a place to hide if she hears it or hear the ground vibrate from it

She is still young and doesn't have that sort of interest towards anyone, but she does like the idea of love. Believe it or not, when it comes to love she is a little maiden at heart. She loves all of the cliche love stories her owner reads in their library and the romcoms and soap operas that play on TV. She's so innocent in the ways of romance that she won't really know if she is in love or not. It just gets her flustered and tongue tied.

No she does not

When she first heard about it, She thought it was just a silly story. But later on, she'd start to understand how much it means to the other cats. She's on the fence about it now.

Any passions or hobbies? (Ex: Dance, hunting, etc)

She wants to try being a show cat. Her owner would like to enter her in one when she's of age. Even though her owner or servants grooms her, she also grooms herself and is very keen on her looks. She likes to go out into the flower garden and practice her dancing there.Sometimes when she's outside, she'll just sit on the ledge of the gates or walls and just watch every sort of being go by.

If a song was sung about them at the Jellicle Ball, what would it be about?

They wouldn't have a song for her, but she definitely has a song for herself! It would mostly be in her flower garden, singing about how she is pampered and cared for day while dancing and admiring all the glitz and glam her life has given her. She'll dance on the wall gates while talking about all of the common humans and street cats that pass by. She would mention how infuriating those Tabby cat twins, Jerrie and Teazer can be and how she should be treated like the glamorous little princess she is. But no one is really listening and just being mildly annoyed with this childish kitten. She would then start to scoff and turn tail pouting, yet with her head held high.

What are their thoughts on some of the main characters in the show? (Ex: Tugger, Munk, Jenny, you get to choose!)

She didn't know anybody in the tribe in the beginning. Her? associate with some dirty, hoodlum strays? NEVER!! However, she actually lives close to Jerrie and Teazer's owners and she is one of their prime targets to mess around with. Their mischievous and silly nature just sends her in a tizzy and doesn't know how to handle their teasing. They'll sometimes tell all the gossip and happenings in the tribe.

Do they have any secrets they are hiding?

She actually has a habit of sleeping with her tail in between her legs and using it like a body pillow. It's just so childish and unlady-like but its just. so. soft!

*** Lazuline will learn about and know the cats of the tribe when she is finally forced out of her home. The mansion would be robbed while her owner was going to be out for the day and the servants had the day off, leaving her by herself. She was thrown out the window ending up in a bush on the other side of the gates and no way to get back in. For once she didn’t know what to do and was getting hungry until a Jellicle finds her, takes her around town and introduce her to the tribe.
