❇️Minerals: Topaz and Tourmaline with Albite ❇️Cabinet large size: (LWD) 6 x 10.5 x 6 cm Weight: 210 grams ❇️Locality: Stak Nala, Skardu District, Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❇️Description: This is a completely unique specimen in my experience, such as I have never seen. It looks fake at first glance. At second glance, it looks like a Godzilla caricature stomping on Tokyo. This specimen features a perfect, gemmy, champagne-colored topaz of a habit more common from Brazil than from Pakistani pegmatites, perched ON a cluster of classic Stak-Nala style, green-tipped tourmaline. I cannot recall even seeing a good topaz of such habit from this locality before, let alone one stuck on a tourmaline cluster. As well, the topaz style seem sreally unique compared to other Pakistani topazes I have seen. The piece not only has a great contrast of color, but of symmetry and form, between the two gem species. Also, it is complete all around, 360 degrees. It is in fact hard to decide which side to call the front. This was mined in the fall of 2019 and was kept by the miner until now since he believed it’s so unique now its offered to me where I quickly grabbed it. ❇️Mineral: Tourmaline scepter ❇️Miniature size: 4.3 x 1.6 x 1.5 cm Weight:14.7 grams ❇️Locality: Chappa Darrah Mine , Darai Paech , Kunar Province , Afghanistan 🇦🇫 ❇️Description: This intensely-colored vivid green crystal has the classic bicolor coloration for the New mine in Afghanistan , with a gem green top on a red-pink scepter stalk. In this case, it is an unusually longated gem green termination, on a truncated red stalk. It is complete all around and very lustrous. The termination is complete, though slightly frosted (from natural solution efects in pocket). It should be noted that most sceptre tourmalines are found from brazil rarely we see from Afghanistan but this time this unique find with excellent colour and quality for the first time discovered from this locality usually these type tourmaline have highly etched terminations, that deform them, and this is "razor sharp" for the particular type - The fact that the bottom tourmaline are fat and act as a matrix and what is so lovely is that the sceptre are actually formed from the another tourmline to make the very fine emerald green colour right on top !
