Do you think book Jonsa will be way hotter than show Jonsa?
From Sansa's POV I expect romantic.
From Jon's POV I expect hot.
So, yeah, basically.

Note
Bless me with a Jonsa theory that will most likely happen.
Ouuuu, do I have to show my work??
Sansa will give Jon her favour before the battle with Ramsay.
Sansa and Jon will dance.
Sansa will wed King Jon before he heads south to engage with Daenerys.
I stand resolute (and on my own) with that last one!

JON WAS PROMISED TO SANSA PART 1
Tumblr media
PS - I want to apologize for my super long post, I received a couple of messages of readers explaining that the long form of the post makes harder for some people to read all the information. I will try to do in 2 parts. This first using some of the hints from books and tv show and the second part approaching the book chapters.
So, one of my favorite theories that I have seen floating sometimes is that Jon Snow is actually The prince that was promised to Sansa. The idea is that Lyanna not only asked Ned Stark to protect Jon, but also, asked him to marry his first born daughter to her son, in order to fulfil an important prophecy and that the breaking of this promised is what led for all this pain and sorrow to fall onto House Stark. This would parallel the pact made by Doran Martell promising his older daughter to Viserys Targaryen, both men made promises to marry their daughters to Targaryen princes, yet both failed to fulfill their promises.
What if Jon and Sansa had been betrothed all their lives since their birth? What if this union is very important for the future of Westeros and the Gods are making everything possible for them to be together?  This would be a big twist in the end of the story, because the reader usually associates Ned Stark with someone who takes oaths very seriously, yet, having the hero of the story breaking an oath and disgracing himself its kind the story that George likes to write. In A GAME OF THRONES there is a lot of hints that Ned actually broke his promise to Lyanna.
**************************************
He slept and woke and slept again. He did not know which was more painful, the waking or the sleeping. When he slept, he dreamed: dark disturbing dreams of blood and broken promises. When he woke, there was nothing to do but think, and his waking thoughts were worse than nightmares. (A Game of Thrones - Eddard XV)
Ned keeps on dreaming about broken promises…….
The thought of Jon filled Ned with a sense of shame, and a sorrow too deep for words. If only he could see the boy again, sit and talk with him … pain shot through his broken leg, beneath the filthy grey plaster of his cast. He winced, his fingers opening and closing helplessly. "Is this your own scheme," he gasped out at Varys, "or are you in league with Littlefinger?" (A Game of Thrones - Eddard XV)
In his lasts moments Ned is thinking of Jon and the memories of him bring immense shame and sorrow. Remember, not only he never told Jon about his mother, he also allowed the boy to join the Nights Watch without ever explain to him how truly terrible that place was. I am certain now that Ned Stark broke a very serious promise to his sister…..
The mention of dreams reminded him. "I dreamed about the crow again last night. The one with three eyes. He flew into my bedchamber and told me to come with him, so I did. We went down to the crypts. Father was there, and we talked. He was sad." "And why was that?" Luwin peered through his tube. "It was something to do about Jon, I think." The dream had been deeply disturbing, more so than any of the other crow dreams. "Hodor won't go down into the crypts."(A Game of Thrones - Bran VII)
Again, what Ned had to say to Jon was so important that he came back from the death just to tell Bran. I believe that Bran will finally remember about this dream in the last volume of the books, “A dream of Spring”.
One of my favorite moments in A CLASH OF KINGS, is the red comet that crosses the sky during the entire opening of the story. In Sansa’s first chapter she asks one of the knights of the kingsguard what does he thinks the comet purpose. Several Jonsas writers have made metas over this idea
(https://www.tumblr.com/nattyslove22/745268948796407808/what-do-you-think-it-means-she-asked-him-glory) (https://chispas-and-broken-bindings.tumblr.com/post/642883177830137856/glory-to-your-betrothed-ser-arys-answered-at)
The morning of King Joffrey's name day dawned bright and windy, with the long tail of the great comet visible through the high scuttling clouds. Sansa was watching it from her tower window when Ser Arys Oakheart arrived to escort her down to the tourney grounds. "What do you think it means?" she asked him. "Glory to your betrothed," Ser Arys answered at once. "See how it flames across the sky today on His Grace's name day, as if the gods themselves had raised a banner in his honor. The smallfolk have named it King Joffrey's Comet." Doubtless that was what they told Joffrey; Sansa was not so sure. "I've heard servants calling it the Dragon's Tail." "King Joffrey sits where Aegon the Dragon once sat, in the castle built by his son," Ser Arys said. "He is the dragon's heir—and crimson is the color of House Lannister, another sign. This comet is sent to herald Joffrey's ascent to the throne, I have no doubt. It means that he will triumph over his enemies." (A Clash of Kings - Sansa I)
We know that Jon is the Dragon Heir, since he is the son of Rhaegar, so what if the comet was meant to him????
There are some other hints too, that looked like foreshadowing in my mind…
He grinned. "I will hold you to that promise, my lady. Until that day, may I wear your favor in the tourney?" "You may not. It is promised to...another." She was not sure who as yet, but she knew she would find someone. (The Winds of Winter - Alayne I)
I have been rewatching the tv show and a couple of scenes got my attention. First we have the famous added scene of Catelyn Stark telling Talisa that she broke a promise made to the Gods. This happens on Season 3 Episode 2 (Dark Wings, Dark Words). Catelyn Stark tells about a broken promise that she made involving Jon Snow and how she believes breaking this promise brought all this pain and sorrow to House Stark.
Tumblr media
Catelyn Stark: Many years before that, one of the boys came down with the pox. Maester Luwin said if he made it through the night, he'd liνe. But it would be a νery long night. So l sat with him all through the darkness. Listened to his ragged little breaths. His coughing, his whimpering. Talissa: Which boy? Catelyn Stark: Jon Snow. When my husband brought that baby home from the war, l couldn't bear to look at him. l didn't want to see those brown stranger's eyes staring up at me. So l prayed to the Gods, take him away. Make him die He got the pox. And l knew l was the worst woman who eνer liνed. A murderer. l'd condemned this poor, nnocent child to a horrible death all because l was jealous of his mother. A woman he didn't eνen know. So l prayed to all seνen Gods, let the boy liνe. Let him liνe and l'll loνe him. l'll be a mother to him. l'll beg my husband to giνe him a true name, to call him Stark and be done with it, to make him one of us. Talissa: And he liνed?  Catelyn Stark: And he lived…..And l couldn't keep my promise. And everything that's happened since then, all this horror that's come to my family, it's all because l couldn't love a motherless child.
Later, in season 6 Episode 10 (The Winds of Winter) we have Jon and Sansa finally taking back the North and Winterfell together. Sansa tells Jon that she sees him as a Stark and Jon tells Sansa they need to start trusting each other, then he kisses her and remind Sansa of a promise made by Ned Stark.. (Interesting fact ton notice that after receiving this kiss from Jon, Sansa never again allows Littlefinger to kiss her again).
Tumblr media
Jon Snow: I'm having the lord's chamber prepared for you. Sansa Stark: Mother and Father's room? You should take it. Jon Snow: I'm not a Stark. Sansa Stark: You are to me. Jon Snow: You're the Lady of Winterfell. You deserve it. We're standing here because of you. The battle was lost until the Knights of the Vale rode in. They came because of you. You told me Lord Baelish sold you to the Boltons. Sansa Stark: He did. Jon Snow: And you trust him? Sansa Stark: Only a fool would trust Littlefinger. I should have told you about him, about the Knights of the Vale. I'm sorry. Jon Snow: We need to trust each other. We can't fight a war amongst ourselves. We have so many enemies now. Sansa Stark: Jon. A raven came from the Citadel. A white raven. Winter is here. Jon Snow: (Smiling) Well, Father always promised, didn't he?
Once again, the show makes sure to connect Ned Stark with a promise, they could have use any word for this dialogue. It could have been Father always warned us, or Father always told us but they made sure to use the word promise which we know its always associated with Jon Snow and the promise Ned Stark made to his sister. So it made me wonder if we ever will found out more about Ned's promises to Lyanna.
Next is part 2, the books chapters.

You know nothing, Jon Snow
For @nattyslove22
Ygritte is NOT the only character that can rightly be associated with “you know nothing”.
We associate that line with Ygritte ALONE because she says it ALOT! But this might not be the only person that Jon has heard these words from, behind the scenes, and how Ygritte’s words are a reminder of someone, or someones, that could very well have said it to him too. (Just because we don’t get a POV narrative doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. There are MANY clues regarding other characters that we don’t get all the information about, but we get hints everywhere!
So “You know nothing, Jon Snow” are words he very possibly could have heard from Catelyn, the ONLY mother figure he’s ever really known (and he desired motherly affection from) and from Sansa, a sister who tries to live up to the image of her mother. The two most important feminine figures in Jon Snow’s life.
An interesting thing is that we see Catelyn Stark use this phrase in ACOK before we ever hear it from Ygritte in ASOS.
Here is the one from Catelyn Stark:
[She opened her hands to look down at the scars across her fingers. His dagger’s marks, she reminded herself. His dagger, in the hand of the killer he paid to open Bran’s throat. Though the dwarf denied it, to be sure. Even after Lysa locked him in one of her sky cells and threatened him with her moon door, he had still denied it. “He lied,” she said, rising abruptly. “The Lannisters are liars every one, and the dwarf is the worst of them. The killer was armed with his own knife.” Ser Cleos stared. “I know nothing of any—”
“You know nothing,” she agreed, sweeping from the cell. Brienne fell in beside her, silent.]
-Catelyn ACOK chapter 45
But the most interesting thing is, the FIRST time we see Ygritte says these words, they are in a different order, AND they are the chapter JUST before Sansa’s chapter where she is thinking these words.
The FIRST we see Ygritte say it, she says Jon Snow’s name first. ALL the other times AFTERWARDS she says his name last.
[“Are all crows afraid of gooseprickles? A little ice won’t kill you. I’ll jump in with you t’prove it so.” “And ride the rest of the day with wet clothes frozen to our skins?” he objected. “Jon Snow, you know nothing. You don’t go in with clothes.” “I don’t go in at all,” he said firmly, just before he heard Tormund Thunderfist bellowing for him (he hadn’t, but never mind).]
-Jon II ASOS
THE VERY NEXT CHAPTER is Sansa’s POV:
[“Alyn said her favor made him fearless,” said Megga. “He says he shouted her name for his battle cry, isn’t that ever so gallant? Someday I want some champion to wear my favor, and kill a hundred men.” Elinor told her to hush, but looked pleased all the same. They are children, Sansa thought. They are silly little girls, even Elinor. They’ve never seen a battle, they’ve never seen a man die, they know nothing. Their dreams were full of songs and stories, the way hers had been before Joffrey cut her father’s head off. Sansa pitied them. Sansa envied them.”]
-Sansa II ASOS
Do you think it a coincidence that the the very first time we see Ygritte use these words, it is immediately followed by Sansa thinking the same words? Nope. It’s not coincidence.
It gives a whole other perspective to Jon’s thoughts before he gets stabbed near the end of ADWD.
[Jon flexed the fingers of his sword hand. The Night’s Watch takes no part. He closed his fist and opened it again. What you propose is nothing less than treason. He thought of Robb, with snowflakes melting in his hair. Kill the boy and let the man be born. He thought of Bran, clambering up a tower wall, agile as a monkey. Of Rickon’s breathless laughter. Of Sansa, brushing out Lady’s coat and singing to herself. You know nothing, Jon Snow. He thought of Arya, her hair as tangled as a bird’s nest. I made him a warm cloak from the skins of the six whores who came with him to Winterfell … I want my bride back … I want my bride back … I want my bride back … ‘]
~ Jon XIII, ADWD chapter 69
1. He thought of Robb, with snowflakes melting in his hair. (This is Jon’s last memory of Robb, when they said farewell before Jon left for the Wall. The last time he saw Robb)
-Kill the boy and let the man be born.
(Jon is associating Aemon’s words with his last memory of Robb. Why? This is why I think he does:
“Allow me to give my lord one last piece of counsel,” the old man had said, “the same counsel that I once gave my brother when we parted for the last time......Kill the boy within you, I told him the day I took ship for the Wall. It takes a man to rule. An Aegon, not an Egg. Kill the boy and let the man be born.”
-Jon II ADWD
2. He thought of Bran, clambering up a tower wall, agile as a monkey. (Here Jon doesn’t have ANY thoughts he associates with Bran)
3. Of Rickon’s breathless laughter. (Again, no thoughts in connection to Rickon.)
But then:
4. Of Sansa, brushing out Lady’s coat and singing to herself. You know nothing, Jon Snow.
(Why does Jon associate Ygritte’s words with Sansa? Curiouser and curiouser...)
Followed by:
5. He thought of Arya, her hair as tangled as a bird’s nest.
-I made him a warm cloak from the skins of the six whores who came with him to Winterfell … I want my bride back … I want my bride back … I want my bride back …
(These are the words from the Pink Letter from Ramsay Bolton who married fArya. Direct connection/association with his thoughts of Arya.)
But, isn’t it Arya who Ygritte reminded him of? Not Sansa. Or is the reader missing all the subtleties of how Ygritte actually reminds Jon of Sansa, he just doesn’t mention her name in his thoughts? Ygritte’s singing, and tears, and weeping, and her red hair kissed by fire, these are all things that are associated with Sansa’s character!)
Here are some book quotes:
[One was asleep, curled up tight and buried beneath a great mound of skins. Jon could see nothing of him but his hair, bright red in the firelight.
On the ground the sleeper sat up beneath his furs. Jon slid his dirk free, grabbing the man by the hair and jamming the point of the knife up under his chin as he reached for his—no, her—His hand froze. “A girl.”
He was so close he could smell onion on her breath. She is no older than I am. Something about her made him think of Arya, though they looked nothing at all alike. “Will you yield?” he asked, giving the dirk a half turn. And if she doesn’t? “I yield.” Her words steamed in the cold air. “You’re our captive, then.” He pulled the dirk away from the soft skin of her throat.]
-Jon ACOK chapter 51
[Ygritte watched and said nothing. She was older than he’d thought at first, Jon realized; maybe as old as twenty, but short for her age, bandy-legged, with a round face, small hands, and a pug nose. Her shaggy mop of red hair stuck out in all directions. She looked plump as she crouched there, but most of that was layers of fur and wool and leather. Underneath all that she could be as skinny as Arya.]
-Jon ACOK chapter 51
[“Sansa was a lady at three, always so courteous and eager to please. She loved nothing so well as tales of knightly valor. Men would say she had my look, but she will grow into a woman far more beautiful than I ever was, you can see that. I often sent away her maid so I could brush her hair myself. She had auburn hair, lighter than mine, and so thick and soft … the red in it would catch the light of the torches and shine like copper.]
-Catelyn ACOK chapter 55
‘The wildlings seemed to think Ygritte a great beauty because of her hair; red hair was rare among the free folk, and those who had it were said to be kissed by fire, which was supposed to be lucky. Lucky it might be, and red it certainly was, but Ygritte’s hair was such a tangle that Jon was tempted to ask her if she only brushed it at the changing of the seasons.
At a lord’s court the girl would never have been considered anything but common, he knew. She had a round peasant face, a pug nose, and slightly crooked teeth, and her eyes were too far apart. Jon had noticed all that the first time he’d seen her, when his dirk had been at her throat. Lately, though, he was noticing some other things. When she grinned, the crooked teeth didn’t seem to matter. And maybe her eyes were too far apart, but they were a pretty blue-grey color, and lively as any eyes he knew. Sometimes she sang in a low husky voice that stirred him. And sometimes by the cookfire when she sat hugging her knees with the flames waking echoes in her red hair, and looked at him, just smiling … well, that stirred some things as well.
-Jon II ASOS
She reminded him a little of his sister Arya, though Arya was younger and probably skinnier. It was hard to tell how plump or thin Ygritte might be, with all the furs and skins she wore.
Do you know ‘The Last of the Giants’?” Without waiting for an answer Ygritte said, “You need a deeper voice than mine to do it proper.” Then she sang, “Ooooooh, I am the last of the giants, my people are gone from the earth.
Tormund Giantsbane heard the words and grinned. “The last of the great mountain giants, who ruled all the world at my birth,” he bellowed back through the snow. Longspear Ryk joined in, singing, “Oh, the smallfolk have stolen my forests, they’ve stolen my rivers and hills.” “And they’ve built a great wall through my valleys, and fished all the fish from my rills,” Ygritte and Tormund sang back at him in turn, in suitably gigantic voices.
There were tears on Ygritte’s cheeks when the song ended. “Why are you weeping?” Jon asked. “It was only a song. There are hundreds of giants, I’ve just seen them.” “Oh, hundreds,” she said furiously. “You know nothing, Jon Snow..”
-Jon II ASOS
Jon had never met anyone so stubborn, except maybe for his little sister Arya. Is she still my sister? he wondered. Was she ever? He had never truly been a Stark, only Lord Eddard’s motherless bastard, with no more place at Winterfell than Theon Greyjoy. And even that he’d lost. When a man of the Night’s Watch said his words, he put aside his old family and joined a new one, but Jon Snow had lost those brothers too.
-Jon III ASOS
She bit his neck and he nuzzled hers, burying his nose in her thick red hair. Lucky, he thought, she is lucky, fire-kissed. “Isn’t that good?” she whispered as she guided him inside her.
-Jon III ASOS
“There’s naught to eat in the dark but flesh,” she whispered, biting at his neck. Jon nuzzled her hair and filled his nose with the smell of her. “You sound like Old Nan, telling Bran a monster story.”
-Jon III ASOS
“Were you a maid?” Ygritte pushed herself onto an elbow. “I am nineteen, and a spearwife, and kissed by fire. How could I be maiden?” “Who was he?” “A boy at a feast, five years past. He’d come trading with his brothers, and he had hair like mine, kissed by fire, so I thought he would be lucky. But he was weak. When he came back t’ try and steal me, Longspear broke his arm and ran him off, and he never tried again, not once.” “It wasn’t Longspear, then?” Jon was relieved. He liked Longspear, with his homely face and friendly ways. She punched him. “That’s vile. Would you bed your sister?” “Longspear’s not your brother.” “He’s of my village. You know nothing, Jon Snow.”
-Jon III ASOS
“Jon grinned, reached over, and messed up her hair. Arya flushed. They had always been close. Jon had their father’s face, as she did. They were the only ones. Robb and Sansa and Bran and even little Rickon all took after the Tullys, with easy smiles and fire in their hair. When Arya had been little, she had been afraid that meant that she was a bastard too. It had been Jon she had gone to in her fear, and Jon who had reassured her.”
-Arya I AGOT
He woke to the sight of his own breath misting in the cold morning air. When he moved, his bones ached. Ghost was gone, the fire burnt out. Jon reached to pull aside the cloak he’d hung over the rock, and found it stiff and frozen. He crept beneath it and stood up in a forest turned to crystal.
The pale pink light of dawn sparkled on branch and leaf and stone. Every blade of grass was carved from emerald, every drip of water turned to diamond. Flowers and mushrooms alike wore coats of glass. Even the mud puddles had a bright brown sheen. Through the shimmering greenery, the black tents of his brothers were encased in a fine glaze of ice.
So there is magic beyond the Wall after all. He found himself thinking of his sisters, perhaps because he'd dreamed of them last night. Sansa would call this an enchantment, and tears would fill her eyes at the wonder of it, but Arya would run out laughing and shouting, wanting to touch it all.
-Jon III ACOK
So:
Jon thinks that Ygritte reminds him of Arya because of her stubbornness and her tangled hair, and how skinny she is, but the things that Jon likes most about Ygritte is her singing, her tears, and he thinks of her red hair on multiple occasions. There really isn’t anything else that sticks out to him besides these three things during the time he is with the wildlings.
Ygritte =Arya= tangled hair, skinny, stubborn
When they looked nothing alike.
But on an unconscious level:
Ygritte =Sansa= singing, tears, red hair
These are what Jon fell in love with. The ONLY things that stirred him.
He thinks of Sansa singing while she brushes Lady’s fur. Then, you know nothing...

@ everyone STILL trying to defend undercover...
Or.. The writers are actually trying to tell us something by Jon not bending the damn knee and not sharing an ounce of personal information when it came to Dany. Just saying.. I seriously question if any one has forgotten about Jon betraying Ygritte and playing the wildlings at times..
the writers also decided that ellaria is fine with killing children and that the sand snakes dont care about killing their cousin or their uncle. the writers decided that arya is a cold-blooded killer who is unfeeling even as she threatens her own sister. the writers decided that jon and gendry are gonna get along swimmingly but somehow neither of them think to mention arya, despite her being hugely important in both their lives. the writers decided to undo the character growth they wrote for jaime several seasons ago in favor of just making him a boring dumbass who somehow couldn’t shake cersei until just last season. but sure, tell me more about how the writers surely must be “telling us something” when that “something” is clearly “we don’t know how to write for shit”

The way Snow White mother think about her child to be beautiful as snow, it mirror Catelyn own thoughts about Sansa surpassing her in beauty. The ymbq theory evokes snow white prophecy about who is fairest. Like the evil queen cersei wanted to kill Sansa and put reward on her. Sansa begs for mercy from hound to spare her like snow white begs before huntsman. Unlike snow white Sansa did carry poison which killed joff. After Beauty & Beast, snow white have heavy reference in Sansa arc.
I agree.
Your message reminded me of this post by @nattyslove22 that wrote a bit about Sansa/Snow White parallels.
Sansa has allusions not only to the classical most popular fairy tales but to the less known folk stories, like the Russian tale "The Snow Maiden" (Snegurochka), that also reminds me of GRRM's short story The Ice Dragon....
Sansa and Snow, it's always Sansa and Snow..........

Can you elaborate on the wordplay when Tyrion likens Sansa's courtesy as unyielding as wall of ice and how it relates to Jon and the vision about the blue flower in House of the Undying ?
Hello anon,
You mean, from where I hopped onto this post?
Basically, Sansa is placed as a bit of a mirror to the Wall. GRRM basically spells it out.
Gently, he spoke of Braavos, and met a wall of sullen courtesy as icy and unyielding as the Wall he had walked once in the north.
(ASOS, Tyrion VIII)
It’s not just a random comparison. A key aspect of Sansa’s personality (courtesy is a lady’s armor) and her specific defense mechanism against Tyrion’s unwanted romantic/sexual advances is compared to the Wall.
This certain quotes about the wall take on new meaning.
3 separate, escalating instances by Jon of “The Wall defends itself”. (ASOS, Jon IV, VII, VIII) in ASOS, the book where Sansa is doing very little else from start to finish.
“The Wall has more moods than a woman.” (ADWD, Jon XI)
The Wall is compared to a woman, which mirrors the woman-like-a-wall-of-ice comparison.
7 separate instances of “The Wall is mine.”
Several instances of the sun changing the colors and appearance of the Wall, which ties into Sansa’s sun and dawn imagery, my favorite being this one:
Can you find it? The way home? Just follow the ice, east and east, into the sun, and you'll find it. (ASOS, Jon III)
All this makes the idea that Jon really wants to know “what’s on the other side” of the Wall, and “there is magic beyond the wall” kind of significant, too.
As for how is relates to the blue flower, this post by @nattyslove22 says it all. And says it so beautifully. With pictures and everything. *hearteyes’

JON AND SANSA FORESHADOW FROM THE SHOW
So, since season 8 is about to kick our asses. I wanted to put together all the little and big foreshadows the show has given us, going all back from season 1, to the lastest season 7.
I will probably need the help of our entire Jonsa family, because, when season 8 delivers the good, I want people to know who were the smart asses who were able to find the little clues left by D&D in the making of Game of Thrones.
SEASON 1
@sepedarodatiga mentioned how important this episode is, setting up the foreshadow for Jon and Sansa, pretty much from season 1. @nattyslove22 also noticed this detail about this scene.
Tumblr media
SEASON 2
Once again, our own @nattyslove22, if I am not mistaken, was the first on to notice that the show uses the blue flower in the glass window to simbolyze Jon Snow.
Joffrey orders the Kingsguard to beat Sansa in the Throne Room after Robb defeats this armies on the battlefield. The knight rips apart her dress and leaves her almost naked. Tyrion stops the assault and order someone to cover her up. We see Sansa being cloaked by the Hound, with the blue winter rose (Jon) right behind her.
This will always be one of my favorite foreshadows of their romance in the show.
Tumblr media
SEASON 3
Rewacthing the show, this scene in particular got my attention. Right after the scene with Sansa and Margaery discussing sex, we have Jon and Tormound also discussing sex. This episode was written by George RRMartin himself.
@nattyslove22 , wrote about this particular foreshadow.
If any Jonsa also got this foreshadow too and posted about, please just let me know I will tag you name immediately. I do remember this one was quite popular.
Tumblr media
SEASON 4
This also, got my attention when I was rewatching the show. They pretty much dressed Sansa as a crow, which to me was a big node to Jon Snow. @jonsalways made this amazing meta about Sansa dresses.
Tumblr media
This is just a tinfoil for me, but I do believe they were trying to hint at Jon and Sansa arcs as rulers in the final end.
SEASON 5
@sepedarodatiga got this amazing catch in the scene of Jon signing the papers on castleblack. Basically, those two scenes had a little nod to the Ashford Theory that involves Sansa.
Tumblr media
SEASON 6
@everythingjonsa noticed that not only Sansa cloaks Jon with her Stark cloak, but also in the previous scene, we have Sansa wearing Jon’s old grey cloak from when he left Winterfell.
https://thenutofroyalty.tumblr.com/ also noticed this detail. BTW, many other jonsas posted about this particular foreshadow, if I am forgetting anyone, please let me know.
Tumblr media
SEASON 7 EPISODE 1
SANSA’S FEELINGS FOR JON
In the first scene we have Sansa comparing Jon to Joffrey, which got a lot of the attention of us Jonsas.
Later we have Littlefinger asking Sansa: “what do you want, that yuo do not have it? @shieldofrohan wrote a meta about this scene and its pretty good.
@scullylikesscience answered a question and talked about this dialogue and how many clues it gave to us.
Tumblr media
SEASON 7 EPISODE 2
JON REACTING TO SANSA’S NAME
Jon Snow attacks Littlefinger after he mentions his love for Sansa and later, once reunited with Theon, he tells Theon he wont hurt him because of what he did for Sansa.
@sandra-outlawqueenandjonsa4life also noted in her post, how important it was the scene where Jon is reunited with Theon.
Tumblr media
SEASON 7 EPISODE 6
PASSING LONGCLAW
NOW, I remeber liking and even rebloging a jonsa post that pointed out that the Stark theme started to play when Jorah tells Jon to pass Longclaw to his children. But I cant find the post, if any of you could identify the jonsa, I would really appreciate!!!!! I want to give credit to the author because this is one of my favevorite catches ever!!!!
Tumblr media
SEASON 7 EPISODE 7
STARK SISTERS JEALOUS OF THEIR BOYFRIENDS
Sansa was jealous of Littlefinger comment. Thats why the writers used the same line Arya used in season 3. They wanted us to notice that Sansa now may have different feelings for Jon Snow.
Sansa never thought that she could lose Jon, he has been pretty much devoted to her since they reunited and has pretty much vowed to protect her from everything; Jon Snow has become the hero she used to dream about as a child, the hero they used to describe in the songs. The hero everybody said it didnt exist in real life.
Tumblr media
And now Littlefinger is telling her that she may lose Jon to Daenerys? no no no. Its so easy to see it that they were trying to tells us that Sansa was jealous of Jon and didnt like that idea of marriage at all.
ESPECIAL MENTION
Every single time Lyanna Stark appeared in the show she was using the same hairstyle as her niece Sansa Stark
Tumblr media
I was not the first one to notice this,  and have been trying to find the original post  but I am failing. If anyone knows who got this amazing detail, please let me know!!!!!!
Well, I think that this is it. I am sure, we have even more scenes. If any of you found more foreshadows rewatching the show, just let me know. I want to gather as much as evidence as possible.
I treasure those little clues like diamonds!!!!

Dear Jonsa fam,
4 more nights for me to finally be able to enjoy season 8 (I'm French and the episode will be available on Monday)...But before that I wanted to tell you this :
Years ago I created a Tumblr account. It was definitely not the popular social media in my country but I liked it a lot...years passed and I was not very active although this was my only social media account. And season 6 happened! 6.04 and that reunion hug...Not familiar at all with shipping but the first scene between Sansa and Jon got me. It was clear in my mind but nobody in my entourage saw what I saw and felt what I felt.
Feeling confused and doubting myself I searched for answers and I was like "I have not been on Tumblr for a while, maybe there is something about Jon and Sansa or someone who saw what I saw" and oh boy!!
I was so happy to see that I was not the only one! I've read so many metas, analysis, theories. The time and energy many of you have put in your posts, how intelligent and interesting it was/is to read them...And I had so much fun reading them!!
I changed my irl many times so many of you don't even know that I'm here for a long time but I wanted to say thank you! The Jonsa fam is the only reason I'm on social media...
Everytime there was something new about GoT, even my hubby was like "what do the Jonsas think about this on Tumblr?" !!!!
I especially want to thank @kitten1618x for her GoT recaps and her amazing "GoT/War of the Roses post", @thelawyerthatwaspromised for the amazing metas, posts and answers you have written, @tiny-little-bird for your wonderful gifset stories (Is it how it was called?), @fedonciadale for your detailed answers and for sharing your knowledge about the books and making me want to read them even more, @nattyslove22 for showing things I have never noticed watching the episode the first time I saw them.
And thank you to everyone who "brought their thing" and made the Jonsa fam so special!
After season 8, I will miss the Jonsa tag, I will miss checking the tag and reading your reactions and comments and basically the mood! and the fun it is/was being part of this fam.
I really hope you will all enjoy season 8 and I can't wait for the Jonsa tag to be on fire after each episode of this final season!
I was never sure about them being endgame but I was always sure that Jonsa would be canon one way or another after 6.04 .
So I just can't wait to read you! Let's put the Jonsa tag even more on fire for this final season!
Sending love from France to all of you!
