SomewhereAchard felt the urge to put his foot down, simply for the fact thatthis was his store and it seemed to all so slowly get invaded by moreand more inhabitants. Yet it turned out to be harder than he thoughtas he looked upon the youngster who were standing there, the tinykitten still in his arms, biting onto his thumb.

“It’sdirty..”

“Ican give her a bath!” Elias quickly answered.

Feelinghow this turned more or less into a battle of wills, the occultistgave another sigh, trying to arrange some papers on the counter whilehe once more spoke.

“She’llbe a handful.”

“Ipromise I’ll look after all all the time!”

Groaninghe put the papers down, once more looking at the tiny little creaturethat uttered the smallest of meows while trying to take in her newsurrounding. Somewhere it melted his heart to the core, making himgive a low chuckle.

“Wellyoung man, I’ll keep you to those words” he added “just try tokeep her out of Asselin’s boots… by all gods we both know he wouldhave a heart attack if his he got his toes bitten!”

~ Once upon a time... ~ Perhaps there was a lad who tried to make you laugh. Who tried to fill your life with song to make it easier... Mine and @nattravn-art's Rusty Lake AU is going places oh boy! For those who are interested in some rambling there is more under the read more, just know that this is me right now:

I've long since planned to add some time shenanigans for my oc Murray (this magnificent red haired lad). And we've been talking back and forth with ideas for a long while and slowly it merged into this idea of him having lived back in the time of Paradise, crossing ways with Jakob before his final trip back to his families island. This crossing of paths and one fateful decision to try and head for Paradise himself is what has thrown him completely out of time and space itself. Perhaps he is a reincarnation way into the future? Or the same soul? Who knows when Rusty Lake time shenanigans is a play? Slowly puzzling it all together while crumbling under the pressure of two friendly souls once torn apart reuniting somewhere else in time completely.

~ Staffing the hotel ~ So me and @nattravn-art have had a lot of fun making some Rusty Lake Hotel oc's. From cleaners, physiotherapists, sommeliers and more to patients with mysterious pasts and a very, VERY tired detective: it's been a blast :D

~ Someone will die... ~ Behold some of mine and @nattravn-art's Rusty Lake oc's! Mx Grief, the butcher, Mr Mouflon the cleaner and Miss Foxglove a physiotherapist and general helper for the mental resort of the hotel.

~ Trade? ~ In mine and @nattravn-art's Pathologic Rp Murky adores trading with my twin oc's and they never say no, accepting all her little pebbles, herbs and other knick knacks because they find them neat. A limited list of the items she's gained so far: * Several temari balls. * One beautiful teacup for her tea parties * A book on Japanese flora to gift Sticky (In Japanese: so any use may vary) * A hairpin which she REFUSED to share with Daniil (he still mopes about it). And yes, every time it happens Artemy is left in the limbo of: "these are too precious we need to give them back" and "she did trade for them fair and square".

~ Ho ho Holy shit what a year ! ~ Grief and Vitu trying to get some rest in between the festivities at the hotel. They're both exhausted. They deserve a raise so badly! Rounding out this year with another little piece of holiday art of mine and @nattravn-art's Rusty Lake oc's <3
