#sorry to everyone who doesn't know abt the harvest moon -> story of seasons stupid legal bullshit#all 3 are the same developer and the 3rd pic is in fact a remake of the 1st pic#it's a long story/a mess but basically natsume had the rights to translate/publish outside japan the farm games by the developer marvelous#so they came up w the english series title harvest moon#but they kinda sucked at localization tbh w typos and shit so eventually marvelous decided to go w a different company for localizations#natsume got pissy and was like WELL TECHNICALLY THE NAME HARVEST MOON BELONGS TO US#SO FUCK YOU IF WE CAN'T LOCALIZE YOUR GAME YOU CAN'T CALL YOUR GAMES HARVEST MOON ANYMORE#and then started making their own games using the name harvest moon making everything confusing#tl;dr new ''harvest moon'' games are not actually made by the developers of the old harvest moon games and are Bad#story of seasons games are the games that are made by the ppl that made the Good Harvest Moon Games#other tl;dr natsume fucking sucks
