“I’ve been waiting to announce this but I was hired by Nike to be a shoe Designer and the N7 Lead Graphic Designer! Since I was 14 I made it my goal to be the N7 Designer and now I am! I’m so happy to bring Native representation to the brand! #NativeExcellence
For you that don’t know what Nike N7 is its the Native American brand of Nike that has Native athletes who are ambassadors which each collection is based on one of them. And the profits from the clothing and apparel go to the N7 fund.
The N7 fund gives money and resources to Native programs in the US and Canada to help Native youth get active to help prevent diabetes and suicide.
As a kid I use to play in Native basketball tournaments and travel for sports which made me happy and gave me skills that helped in my life. I want to give back to my Native communities and get our Native youth active and influence them to go for their dreams like I did
N7 has even created a shoe to help Natives who do have diabetes and have discomfort with their shoes. It’s called the Air Native and is designed to help Native people to provide comfort bc your feet swell so it aids to that.
