Native Blends has a clear business objective to develop, produce, promote and distribute Breathe Better Herbal products. These products have been developed from years of experience with a core focus on addressing the key customer issues associated with respiratory ailments.

As a key component of our growth strategy, Native Blends considers it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. Our key long term business objective is to launch a herbal tea/smokable blend. Whilst our existing blends have been useful for testing markets, we are confident that this specific Breathe Better Blend will help us to fully capitalise on our business potential. Native Blends growth path is clearly oriented around the addition, development, and subsequent marketing of new products. It is understood that costs will be associated with new product development and marketing. These costs have been analyzed and integrated into our budget.
The Customer
Native Blends has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer issues as Native Blends provides a detox from air pollutants, while tonifying the lungs with our Breathe Better Blend. It's an excellent alternative to smoking and a great way to cleanse the lungs, which is a critical issue for our selected target market of inhabitants of air polluted environments and smokers.
The Value Proposition
Native Blends is uniquely positioned to deliver products of value to smokers and people who live in air polluted environments. With our Breathe Better Blend we invite consumers to detoxify the lungs, relieve lung congestion and allergies, reduce cravings, quit smoking, ease anxiety, relax, breathe better. The main value proposed in Native Blends is in the experience of founder Giselle Renata King. GRK has been working in the healing arts for over 15 years and is an accredited herbalist, studying herbalism in North and South America, the Caribbean, and Asia. Native Blends signature blends have been years in the making, crafted with only the highest quality organic herbs. This unique research and experience has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
Competitors
There are a number of competitors within the herbal blends market. We consider our key competitors to be herbal cleansers and teas that address respiratory ailments. These type of products are a fairly new trend in herbalism, responding to the growing air pollution worldwide. Most competitors are smaller companies that have blends available in tincture and smokable form. None compare to the benefits yielded from our Breathe Better Blend signature formula because they only address one aspect of lung detoxification. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and overall value proposition. We believe that we can effectively compete with herbal lung cleansers backed by our holistic approach to addressing respiratory issues, and the variety of ways our product can be consumed. Key Strategies
Over the next 6 months, our focus will be to market, package and distribute our signature Breathe Better Blend. We will promote and sell BBB on Etsy to start, while developing an interactive user friendly website. We will utilize social media tools in marketing Native Blend products. We will also research upcoming holiday markets for vending/sales opportunities and develop a client database. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy within the next year to seek out international markets and develop strong business and non profit affiliations. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Milestones
The successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: 500 reviews on Etsy, 2000 internet sales, 5000 followers on Instagram.
