(10.1.20) 1) today marks 2 special holidays in China on the same day - Mid Autumn Festival (中秋节) and National Week/Golden Week (国庆). This is my 2nd time being in China to celebrate both special days. 2) slept in late today, woke up and had dumplings & wontons for breakfast. We then went out to shop a few items including icy skin moon cakes, which I had for the 1st time last year and just had to have them again this year). Returned home, reheated leftovers for lunch and then relaxed for the afternoon 3) I then went to Jason’s home and had dinner with his family who cooked a delicious spread of dishes. I had dinner with them year year too in celebrating the holiday. 4) after dinner we went to Cultural Park (#文化公园 ) to view the decorations and lights in celebration of the holidays. Last year, we visit Yuexiu Park so we decided to visit another park this year.
