hmm. thinking about quark has never been in a stable long relationship lol like ever. so he's with odo for months, and meanwhile quark is *freaking* out waiting for the other shoe to drop. he doesn't trust happiness. just always either acting out flirting wildly to make Odo jealous, or cooking up elaborate schemes so Odo will bust him, or suggesting more and more creative depraved ways they could have sex. (this is following up odildo fic so there's lots of sex toys involved.) he's either trying to get odo to break up with him, or trying to make odo prove he still wants to be with him, or trying to keep odo interested through novelty

anyway maybe odo *is* always breaking up with him publicly out of exasperation, but it's foreplay and every time chases quark down for hot sex like right after. hmm ending with some way odo proves he's never leaving quark, they have a quiet nice evening just cuddling on the couch or something lol.
