30 DAYS MUSIC CHALLENGE: 2024 edition Day 5: A song that reminds you of a loved one Об устройстве небесного свода (On the Structure of the Celestial Sphere) by Melnitsa
И колеса вращаются, молнии, жернова, Перемалывай сердце в пыль, пусть улетает к апрелю. Потому, что когда я люблю тебя я права! Снег летит, крылья кружатся, мир вращается все Быстрее, быстрее, быстрее.

hello! this is not meant to be a bother, but i was wondering if you happened to have a list of fcs for your muses or if you’d be willing to type one out? again very much not trying to be a bother or anything just honestly curious and would like to know!

In retrospective, seeing Natalia O'Shea/Hellawes (local folk & folk-rock singer) on stage in a flowing dress and a metal armor-like harness strum a grand harp did irreversible bisexual things to my brain.

There is something among russian-language people... We have at least one Мельница's song for our OTP (otherwise you r a very odd person). So I've made a playlist only with Мельница for Carlesme because I owe them my life and because I love Russian when I listen to Mrs. Natalia O'Shea despite I hate this language.

Taxonomic vandals and name thieves - the fake scientists in herpetology.
Taxonomic Vandals / Fake Scientists / Scientific Fraud (incomplete list) (last updated 15 May 2020) Bold and underlined (in original document only) are sole or senior authors and rest are secondary listed authors (so called “et al.”). Travers Burhan Tjaturadi Nicolas Vidal S. P. Vijayakumar Philipp Wagner Van Wallach Perry L. Wood Jr Catharine E. Wüster Wolfgang Wüster Hussam Zaher Alexander Zorrilla Notes: 1/ All the above persons are listed as authors of papers that have engaged in the nefarious practice of taxonomic vandalism. 2/ Taxonomic vandalism is the illegal renaming of species, genera or family already named by other scientists and then, knowing these taxa have been properly named prior, promoting the illegal new names instead of the correct older names, along with simultaneously improperly trying to suppress or hide the correct legal names from others. 4/ Taxonomic vandalism is in breach of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, highly dishonest and antiscience. 5/ These acts of Taxonomic Vandalism have been mainly done at the instigation of serial law-breaker and certified animal abuser, Wolfgang Wüster of Wales. They are typically justified by the fake scientists/name thieves on the basis of a blog document called “Kaiser et al.” in fact written by Wüster himself. 6/ Taxonomic vandalism wastes time and money of legitimate scientists who have to fix the mess and deliberate confusion caused by the taxonomic vandals. 7/ Taxonomic vandals use fake online accounts and hijack databases and the like to infect them with their illegal names and to delete the correct scientific names to confuse scientists and the general public. Their actions and the damage they cause can be compared to the effects of a severe Coronavirus pandemic. 8/ Taxonomic vandalism is fake science and anti-science. Taxonomic Vandalism can only exist in the complete absence of peer review. 9/ Taxonomic vandalism has in the past caused species to be become extinct and is an evil law-breaking practice that needs to be stamped and the perpetrators exposed 10/ Many of the taxonomic vandals listed above are ostensibly government-funded scientists and are scamming research grants to conduct original research, when all they are doing is stealing work from other scientists and fraudulently rebadging it as original research. 11/ Research grants awarded to these fake scientists are illegally obtained and the fake scientists if caught would be liable to be charged for fraud, theft and potentially jailed. 12/ Taxonomic vandals like Wolfgang Wüster typically “author shop”, with the added names being listed on the paper as authors “to add credibility” to the document (Wüster’s exact words). Not all above listed co-authors would even be aware that their names have been associated with fake science, but in those  cases they are reckless in not reading or checking properly the so-called “paper” they have put their name to. 2018 Europeans: pairs review
Hello, skating people, I've finished watching all the pairs now. The performances at Europeans this year weren't exactly as strong as last year's, but it was a good dog fight and I can honestly say I enjoyed it. Evgenia Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov (RUS): In the SP I was utterly shocked to see Evgenia put her hand down on the triple toe, then fall on the throw triple loop, leaving them in 5th. "What has happened to this jumping angel?" was my first thought. Well, that didn't last long. Apparently they are on a mission to prove that "Candyman" is a winning program, despite my doubts, and they hit their elements. Strong tech didn't improve the part about panties dropping, but at least there was clean skating, which is more than I can say for the rest. I do, however, think the judges shied away from giving some negative GOE to a two-footed throw and a sketchy salchow, and the PCS still has me scratching my head. Ksenia Stolbova/Fedor Klimov (RUS): Stolbova/Klimov's SP remains one of my favorites this season, despite the fact Ksenia missed the toe loop again. They got the highest PCS of the night for a reason. Frankly, I consider their silver here a miracle. But one look at Ksenia's face after the FS and my first thought was "get this woman some wine and chocolate". She couldn't even hit the closing pose before she started crying. The good news is, she landed her 3-3 like a boss (Fedor doubled his, but he's usually a rock-solid jumper so I think it was just nerves). But hey, silver is the new gold. Gratuitous fashion comments: Ksenia has two new dresses. The SP one is okay but I loved the first dress with the beaded neck even more! I prefer the new FS dress though; I feel like it's just more "Ksenia". My friends would beg to differ on it though... Natalia Zabiiako/Alexander Enbert (RUS): I didn't see these guys coming, but they weren't bad. They skated a very clean SP with a huge triple twist. While they don't have the it-factor of Goddess Stolbova or Diva Vanessa, it floated by like a dream and I suddenly thought of Gordeeva and Grinkov for some reason. The FS, unfortunately, bores me a bit. I also don't understand how they scored a 137 with Alexander's doubled salchow and small mistake on the SBS combo. It's like the Russian fed smells Stolbova/Klimov's retirement and is preparing Zabiiako/Enbert to be the new Russian No. 2. But I can honestly say they deserved it, because the couples below them were not better. After all the unfairness of the doping ban, it's almost sweet revenge that Nina Mozer's Russian pairs swept the podium here. Sorry not sorry. Vanessa James/Morgan Cipres (FRA): 0.01, y'all. That was the difference between bronze and 4th. Coming off Vanessa's injury, I didn't know what to expect. They had a clean SP and took the lead, which they definitely deserved. I love the difficult transitions and the sparkle they have, but they looked a little tight, so I can't quite understand how they got 35.45 for PCS when Stolbova/Klimov, who have almost Patrick Chan-level skating skills, got 36.11. In the FS, Vanessa popped her combo down to a 2-2-1, Morgan barely held onto his salchow, and one lift was shaky. The good news: Vanessa stayed up on the throw quad salchow. After the event, everyone was up in arms about how James/Cipres were robbed. Honestly, I don't think so. They got some lofty PCS (as did everyone else). The only thing I would question is the TES, and tbh they just didn't look as smooth as Zabiiako/Enbert. They'll get back up to form, it just wasn't time yet. Side note: I love Vanessa's unitard; when I see it, I hear Adam Rippon singing "We're beautiful, like diamonds in the sky". Valentina Marchei/Ondrej Hotarek (ITA): In this whole drama fest, the Italians' SP was a real highlight of the event for me. Everything, down to Ondrej's hand gestures during the death spiral, exuded charm and style. The elements felt easy and for once, I wasn't concerned for levels and GOE. The FS was not bad either; besides Valentina's doubled toe loop, they really had a good, enjoyable skate. Nicole Della Monica/Matteo Guarise (ITA): Nicole's doubled salchow in the SP put them behind the 8-ball in this field, which is a shame, because the rest of the program was stunning. Small mistakes in the FS added up too - Matteo doubled a toe loop and Nicole two-footed both throws. But it was not a disaster, and now they can just focus on the Olympics. Interesting event all around! It's not what I expected but it gives us a sneak peek at many of the top pairs going into the Olympics. Next week is Four Continents - it won't be as exciting without the Chinese pairs, who withdrew, but I'll be happy to see Iliushechkina/Moscovitch again, and I'm also curious for the face-off between three of the American pairs - Kayne/O'Shea, Stellato/Bartholomay, and Cain/LeDuc. Until next time, happy skating, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
