Android AU with Abbacchio and/or Diavolo? (Sorry to name both I just see goth and my brain goes y e s p l e a s e )

ooh in this au i am a useless assistant mechanic; i’m doing my best, but i’m just not very good at it. i sneak into the workshop at night after being made fun of by some of my peers with my mind absolutely set on fixing one of the androids all on my own - my sights on abbacchio. only, i don’t realise that some of the androids are more dangerous than others and although i do successfully fix abbacchio, i also accidentally turn diavolo on--

abbacchio does his best to be helpful now that he’s working, but diavolo is still broken and in for repairs (almost like he has a split personality) and his malfunctions are violent and dangerous, although he takes an especial liking to me--

OOOOH vampire au with you and abbacchio???

abbacchio is the vampire; he’s one of those tortured soul types who is constantly wondering if his nature is good or evil, in between little breakdowns as to how everybody he loves eventually leaves him. we probably meet in a graveyard; i’m not necessarily a vampire hunter in this au (i don’t think abbacchio would be in a position to be causing enough havoc for one to be aware of him) - but perhaps i’m some kind of academic or artist, making notes on the history of the place and the people buried there.

he doesn’t approach me at first. he watches warily from afar (it’s probably someone he loved’s gravestone; the equivalent to his police partner, though this abbacchio was probably not a police offcer). when i am there the next night, he DOES approach me and i am very startled by his presence. how didn’t i see him? was i that engrossed in what i was doing?

i wonder if he’s the graveyard’s custodian, and this thought just continues to grow as he tells me stories about the various mausoleums and people buried here. i don’t realise he’s started watching me beyond our nightly talks in the graveyard until i’m attacked by some other vampire walking home and he jumps to defend me - an attack in which abbacchio sustains injury and has no choice but to drink from me in his weakened state when i offer--
