so on the occasion nat does murders it's mostly for food or self-defence or in order to protect friends, sometimes all three simultaneously, n as a general rule he does NOT enjoy dragging it out and being all dramatic and monologue-y and Leaning Into The Fun Of It like quinn does. his opinion is that quinn makes everything Super Fucking Weird

and I have also stated that I'm not sure in what circumstances nat would lay the hypnosis on other vampires even though it would technically be possible for him to do

however I have determined Endgame Final Form Super OP Nat concocts a plan that involves both of these things to a ridiculous degree and that plan is "ethel and ethel's little posse of horrible little parasites finally get what's coming to them"

you don't get to see the plan in realtime but he does describe the plan beforehand in loving detail then reference its success in the epilogue. n it is the one instance where nat has Maybe A Little Too Much Fun With Murders and makes several very evil decisions for no reason other than he thinks it'll be funny. AND I think the only time nat heavily abuses his hypnotic abilities to manipulate and control other vampires (also because he thinks it'll be funny)

he explains the plan to quinn and quinn is thrilled and delighted but also immediately like "hey I adore this but this is a super weird look for you, this is extremely out of character lmao" and nat is like "yeah I know, elaborate evil plans aren't really my forte and I had no idea how to go about this so I just thought 'what would quinn do in my position' and went from there haha"

and quinn is just like. "oh I see. well, good going idiot. now the universe is fucking out of balance and I have to do something elaborately ridiculously nice and wholesome like you would so reality doesn't implode and kill us all"
