Oh boy, let’s get this possible track wreck going...

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed 

First off, nice that they allow friendships, pairings and whatnot. Because one of my biggest peeves is when someone says ‘shipping’, most people immediately think romantic shipping. So good on the person who wrote this for including other sorts of ships.

Secondly... ships I like a lot. Weeeeell... For some reason, I’ve always had a soft spot for SasuIno, if we’re gonna talk Naruto. Outside of Naruto... see, the thing is, even after what I said, my mind immediately went to romantic ships and I can’t actually think of too many. I do kinda like Shadouge, and when I was younger I was into... well, that’s probably for a different question, actually, since I’m not into the ship I was going to mention as much anymore. So yeah, there aren’t too many I can mention.

I do like Joker x Kawakami in Persona 5 though, and also Joker x Takemi. Both for meme-y reasons and just the actual relationship.

B - A pairing–platonic, romantic or sexual–that you initially didn’t consider, but someone changed your mind.

Oh boy, here comes possibly one of the first hot takes...

I wasn’t a fan of SasuSaku... and in canon, I’m still not. Having done a little bit of it here and there, though... it’s still not a MASSIVE pairing for me, but I am a little more open to the idea. In canon, though... it just feels somewhat out of nowhere at least from Sasuke’s side, and kinda just feels like he’s a prize/trophy husband for Sakura. Iunno. Maybe that’s not so much of a hot take.

In other fandoms... eh... nothing’s really coming to mind. I’m generally a lot better at stuff like this if someone suggests pairings to me and I can be like ‘I like this’ or ‘I don’t like this’. ^^;

C - A ship you have never liked and probably never will.

Oh boy, here’s the REALLY hot take...

Basically any pairing that is a rivalry, or a really good  platonic friendship, that people decide to turn into a romantic pairing. There are a lot of these, especially in yaoi. NaruSasu, HarryxDraco... No, the hatred isn’t sexual tension, get out of here with that shit.

As for the platonic friendships ones... another one people are gonna dislike me for that comes to mind is InoxSakura, JokerxRyuji... Friendships can be just as beautiful as a romantic relationship, ok? There’s no need to change a great platonic friendship into something romantic as a ‘level up’ to their relationship. It’s just... very unnecessary.

If you want an example of an M/F one, there’s Harry x Hermione. Again, I don’t have many pairings rolling around in my head, but I’m open to people sending pairings into my askbox and asking my opinion on them.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

In Naruto, it’d probably be Shikamaru’s development after Asuma’s death, although Choji has a pretty great development arc during the war.

Outside of Naruto... definitely Neville Longbottom. There are a LOT of things wrong with the books that I can see nowadays, and even more things I disagree with J.K. from (no J.K., I refuse to accept that wizards just piss and shit wherever and then vanish their ‘leavings’, get out of here with that literal shit) but Neville had a great development. Even in the first book, he goes from someone who wouldn’t stand up to anyone, to someone who stood up to his friends, even if it didn’t amount to much.

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

...Honestly, I don’t really know? It’s not generally something I think of, I tend to try to enjoy a fandom for what they have, rather than what they didn’t have.

...Heck, the only thing coming to mind is really wishing that Byleth from Fire Emblem Three Houses wasn’t such a boring, blank slate character. Robin, and, for all their problems, Corrin, were more interesting avatar characters, and Byleth’s just... boring, with no real customization beyond being either male or female. So... less boring silent characters in some games? Iunno?

W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.

...I know I have some, but I honestly can’t think of any right now. Like, none are coming to mind.

I guess I kinda dislike ‘foodie’ tropes, but that’s generally only when literally the only/majority of the characters tropes is just ‘I like food’ and that’s just made the main focus of the character, but then again, I don’t mind Choji that much, and that’s what he basically was for at least the majority of the pre-timeskip Naruto.
