On the occasion of New Year 2024, Shri Venkateshwara University organized a poetry evening called “Kavyanjali.”

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute had a remarkable start to the year 2024.

Shri Venkateshwara University organized a Mahyagya Havan & Poetry evening “Kavyanjali” on the occasion of New Year 2024.

This is to promote global peace & to make India a world leader.

Around half a dozen poets mesmerized the audience with their patriotic /love comedy compositions.

First, 11 priests organized Mahyagya Havan at the Maharishi Vyas Offering spot where University Management & the faculty members gave offerings for global peace & welfare.

Later, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, & the renowned poet Dr Shubham Tyagi inaugurated the poetic evening Kavyanjali by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Famous poets Dr Yogendra Nath Sharma Arun, & Dr Anurag Mishra Gair joined them to inaugurate the poetic extravaganza Kavyanjali.

Then the management honored Dr Shubham Tyagi with the Woman's power award & gifted other poets with a shawl & turban as a mark of respect.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated in the New Year, under the charismatic leadership of PM Narendra Modi India, will achieve new milestones to become a world leader.

Further, Dr Shubham Tyagi opened the poetic event with her heart touching poetry that was admired by all.

Through his poetry, Dr Yogendra Nath Arun showcased present societal norms that made the gathering clap incessantly.

Whereas Poet Dinesh Raghuvanshi highlighted the plight of truth in today’s time, which has been overwhelmed by the power of falsehood. He said the power of truth is diminishing in today’s time when false facts are presented with conviction.

Those present included the Group Consultant RS Sharma, VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, CEO Dr Mohit Sharma, Dr Divya Girdhar, Dr Tejpal Singh & Dr Anil Jaiswal.

At least 40 people have been arrested in connection with explosions that rocked Jalalabad city of eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday and Sunday.

“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s head of intelligence directorate in Nangarhar said on Monday that 40 people have been arrested in connection with explosions that rocked Jalalabad city on Saturday and Sunday,” reported Ariana News.

On Sunday, a child was killed and two people including a Taliban member injured in an explosion in Nangarhar province.

Meanwhile, on Saturday three persons were killed and 21 injured in three consecutive explosions targeting the Taliban in Police District 5 of Jalalabad city of eastern Nangarhar province.

Pakistan’s foreign minister says Afghanistan’s new Taliban rulers should understand that if they want recognition and assistance in rebuilding the war-battered country “they have to be more sensitive and more receptive to international opinion and norms.”

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Monday evening that countries are watching to see how things evolve in Afghanistan before considering recognition. He says, “I don’t think anyone is in a rush to recognize at this stage.”

The Pakistani minister says his country’s objective is peace and stability in Afghanistan and to achieve that “we would suggest to Afghans that they should have an inclusive government.” He says their initial statements indicate they aren’t averse to the idea, so “let’s see.”

635,000 people displaced in Afghanistan this year, says UN

UN humanitarians said on Monday that 635,000 people in Afghanistan were routed from their homes this year because of violence, with more than 12,000 recently displaced to Kabul, mainly from Panjshir Province.

The world organization and its partners have reached 8 million people in the first half of 2021, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said in a release.

Some 1,300 displaced people in Kabul are about to receive aid.

The office said the UN Refugee Agency and the International Organization for Migration handed out relief to more than 9,300 people displaced by the violence in Kunar Province.

While the preparations for the historic Ayodhya Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan are underway, a notable miss from the guest list is Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who had played a pivotal role in trying to bring all disputed parties to the negotiation table. While several spiritual and religious leaders from across the world and even eight seers from Karnataka have been invited to witness the grand event on Wednesday, sources in Sri Sri’s ashram in Bengaluru have confirmed to TNM that the spiritual leader has not received an invite. While the sources were not willing to divulge more details, it has been confirmed that no official reason was cited for this omission. “We have heard from the media that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has received an invite to the event. However, he has not been invited to the programme,” ANI quoted an unnamed Art Of Living spokesperson on Tuesday. Earlier, media reports had claimed that Baba Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Narendra Giri of Akhara Parishad, Vijay Kaushal Maharaj and Mahant Phuldol Bihari Das from Mathura would be among the invitees. Not just Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, but LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, both veteran BJP leaders who played a pivotal role in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, have also not been invited, according to reports. In 2017, Sri Sri had attempted to negotiate with all the stakeholders through a mutual gifting of land suggestion, one that was not agreeable to most parties involved, particularly the Muslim litigators. Sources privy to the discussions held in a private residence in Bengaluru told TNM that many involved in the talk were not part of the original petition. After failing to get the principal petitioners to agree to an amicable settlement, Sri Sri’s image as a neutral arbitrator had been dented. In March 2019, however, the Supreme Court appointed Sri Sri as part of the three-member panel to negotiate an out-of-court settlement between the litigators and stakeholders. On November 9, 2019, the SC directed that the Centre hand over the disputed land at Ayodhya for construction of the Ram Mandir. The foundation stone for the construction of the temple will be laid on August 5, in the presence of many dignitaries and political leaders. A total of 175 dignitaries, including 13 seers and religious leaders, will attend the event on Wednesday.

Letter (in Hindi script) of Sri Mahant Swami Narendragiriji, the President of Akhil Bharatiya Parishad addressing his opinion about HDH Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam’s divine austerities spiritual penance, strength and his contribution to Sanātana Hindu Dharma (Hinduism) and to humanity.

Sri Mahant Narendra Giri Ji. Mahant Narendra Giri Ji is not only a member of the panch of Niranjani akhada but also the President of Akhila Bharatiya Akhada Parishad. Akhada Parishad is the governing body of all the 13 akhadas in the Hindu Sannyas sampradaya. It organizes the Kumbh Mela, which is the world’s largest gathering of humanity on the planet.

In his talk during the Kumbh Mela in 2015 at Nasik Mahant Shri Narendra Giri Ji said:

“One week before India news, IBN7 and other news channels came to me and asked about Swamiji. I said to them that Swamiji is the backbone of Sanatan Hindu Dharma. We went to Swamiji’s room now and they brought two children there. Their eyes were blindfolded and when I gave them my Visiting Card and mobile they were clearly able to read everything. I was initially surprised but later Swamiji explained that when Mahabharata was fought, Sanjaya was sitting at a remote location and was able to see everything happening on the war field. Same way even we can see things which are far off. Swamiji has entered the inner space of these kids through the power of his penance and awakened their third eye. Our scriptures say that Bhagwan Shankar had a third eye, all this is not fraud. When a person has the power of penance then he can do anything. So I believe that Swamiji has such a power of penance through which he can teach anyone this science. Even I will be sending 11 of my students, who will learn from Swamiji. I welcome such great Swami and congratulate him for this breakthrough. Today, after seeing the sadhna, tenacity and strength of respected Nithyananda Swamiji, I truly felt that I have arrived at the Ashram of some divine being.” “I am the head of 13 akhadas, but today I am so happy to be with such a great Saint - Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam! When the media came and asked me, I said, “Swamiji is the backbone of Hinduism!” The media people asked me, “You have made such a huge statement! How are you able to say that Swamiji is the backbone of Hinduism?” I said, He has not only done the work of Hinduism here, but He has taken the respect and honor of Hinduism all over the world. A human being cannot go forward or achieve big things in his life without tests and without hard work. Swamiji was put under so many attacks, but still he is untouched and is established in enlightenment. One day Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam is going to be the Guru for the whole world! ”
