The memories

Memory one:

I remember that day well...The room was warm. The hole place was at peace.

"Ugh... Uuugh..."

"You're awake at least?"

"Where... am I? Is this... a human's home? Bleccch!"

"Don't wiggle like that. I found you at the cliff base. You took quite a fall."

"You're a human, correct? I don't... repulse you? I am of the Tribe of Darkness..."

"Why would that matter? Anyone with a heart would not ignore an injured soul!"

That was the day our paths crossed...

That day... That was the day our tragedy was set in motion.   

Memory two:

"You're late. Did something happen?"

"Yes, my father caught me. Sneaking out of the castle wasn't easy after that."

"I was worried you wouldn't come..."

"You are a strange girl... You know what I am and yet you do not seem afraid."

"I don't care what you are. I just wanted to see you. Is that... Is that so wrong?"

"No. No, of course not. I wanted to see you too..."

"Blumiere... Do you mind if I sit next to you?"

"Please do, Timpani. Let's return to our conversation. I must know more of you..."

Memory three:

"Timpani, why? Why do you avoid me?"

"Ow... OW! Unhand me!"

"Huh? You're crying! Why? Timpani, you must tell me what was happened!"

"It's nothing.. Don't worry about it... Just forget it..."

"Oh no... Timpani, is my father behind this?"

"I'm... I'm just an ordinary girl. No matter how much I love you, we must part."

"Timpani... I..."

"This is good-bye, Blumiere. There's no other choice. This is our fate..."

Memory 4:

"What... What are you thinking? There's no possible way... No one would allow it"

"If we can't be happy here, we must leave for a place that will accept our love."

"But, Blumiere, is there such a place? Think... I can't bear to see you hurt again."

"If our love has no home... let us spend our lives searching together!"

"So I beg of you again... Timpani, marry me! I promise I will make you happy."

"You... just won't give up, will you? Of all the crazy... stubborn... foolish men..."

"Timpani, answer me, please."

"Blumiere, I love you. Take me away. Take me to a world where we can be happy."

Memory five:

"Look, Timpani. The stars are beautiful, aren't they?"

"There's a tradition in my village. We believe that wishes on stars come true."

"Oh, is that so? In that case we'd better get wishing, don't you think?"

"I don't need to wish anymore."

"Mmm?"

"I already got my wish. Now... I have everything I need right here."

"Timpani... Aren't you cold?"

"Not at all. I'm very warm... Can we stay like this? Just a little longer?"

Memory six:

"Timpani! What did you do with her? I must see her!"

"Still your tongue Blumiere... Can't you see you've been duped by a dirty human?"

"You have brought shame to my name... and to the entire Tribe of darkness!"

"And so what if I did? That doesn't matter to me! She's my entire world."

"Well, then it will interest you to know... that she no longer resides in this world."

"What... what do you mean by that!?"

"This is the price those who resist their own fate must pay, my son."

"She... No... It can't be so!"

"Someday you will see, son. Our kind and humans must never mix."

Memory seven:

"Blumiere, my son, don't! Even your ancestors could not handle that dark book..."

"If you open it... there's no telling what might happen!"

"I do not care, Father! A world without her is empty. A LIFE without her is empty."

"Speak, Dark Prognosticus! Teach your dark history! I await your command!"

"BLEH HEH HEH! BLECK!"

"Blumiere... What have you done?"

"Silence! The first prophecy beckons. I will erase every inch... of this blasted world!"

"Blu-Blumiere! Don't do this! Blumiere!"

"Blumiere is no more! I am Count Bleck! And no one shall stand in my way!"

"BLEH HEH HEH! BLECK!"

Admiral of the Moon

The Moon, home of the Lunarians. Where the light shines during it's full phase.

The night here is eternal due to a lack of ozone layers that formed the blue sky just like the Earth.

There were two sides of the moon, the near side and the far side. The far side focuses on civilization, farming, and religion. The near side focuses on military forces, the sea of the moon, and mining.

On the near side, stood a large fortress. Tsukikai Mikadzuki, admiral of the Crescentaries, can be seen standing at the fortress' balcony.

"If something attacks us, we must strike back."

when i see girls doing cool things I get excited bc usually they don't get the credit they deserve anyway I recently learnt that the two people who wrote the entirety of the Super Paper Mario soundtrack, Naoko Mitome, and Chika Sekigawa, are both girls ^-^

the spm ost is really well put together! every track is amazing and unique and REALLY fits the area. I can't say I hate any track from this ost, they're all amazing, even the two unused tracks. I could literally talk for hours about this soundtrack because of how amazing it is (I say this listening to Closing Battle and getting stressed while typing because of its urgency)

late game music (Memory 4 and onwards to me) is PERFECT and I can't stress it enough. it gets really emotional when you get to the final boss and everything like oughhh... I can't talk about late game music without pointing out Proof of Existence - THIS IS A MARIO GAME. RATED E FOR EVERYONE. AND THEY THROW IN SUCH AMAZING THINGS THAT KIDS WOULDNT QUITE UNDERSTAND OR GET TERRIFIED OF (enter Mimi transformation. every kid got traumatised by that. any spm fan you talk to will say something about a certain "innocent" girl <3) - listen to Proof of Existence listen to Proof of Existence listen to Proof of Existence listen to Proof of Existence listen to Proof of Existence listen to Proof of Existence listen to Proof of Existence PLEAAAAASE even just the first 20 seconds bc that bit is INSANE AS IT IS

I'm so sad though because both of them worked on very few game osts, and both their latest game WAS spm, and it came out in 2007 😭 Chika Sekigawa only worked on two games, in which Naoko Mitome worked on both of them too, but also has other games she wrote for too.
