I love these two so much, despite never meeting in game, (whICH IS A CRIME AND VERY UNFAIR I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT-) I imagine the dynamics between them to be utterly too much fun to fit onto one page (many ideas had to be shelved to be there own lil comics and images instead simply because I ran out of space, and that's just between darling and Jesse, I love all the side characters, especially Ahti!)

29. Where do you draw your inspiration? What do you do when the inspiration well runs dry?

aw man, time to be cliché i guess!!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ here's where you all discover i'm actually incredibly boring, because my very, very simple answer is real life!

eh...for the most part.

bear with me here for a second, we're going places.

when it comes to my longer stuff, chances are good the reason it's gotten so long to start with is that there's, um, let's say a central issue or theme involved therein that i'm dealing with in my real life, ha!!! i think that's probably the case for a lot of writers who go on longfic journeys - in order for a project to really resonate that strongly with you, to inspire that much work and effort and energy from you, there's probably something in there that's coming from real life.

......now the other side of that is that i do tend to have a secondary well of inspiration i draw on from time to time, yes, and lord help me that well is full to the brim with energy drinks and comedy podcasts askldfjaklsdjfklsdjf when i'm feeling especially burnt out (or i just plain can't DEAL with projecting my real life nonsense onto the blorbo of the hour anymore), usually i dip into this well. dive into it, really. arms and mouth wiiide open baby. i'll tell you, this is 100% how my until dawn ghost hunting au started, so as of right now, the well runneth over!!!

Currently 86 fics!

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

736,742 -- somehow it feels like this should be much higher, but there are several stories which haven't made it to AO3.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently Alan Wake and Control. In the past, I've written for Hades, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Star Wars, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, just to name the big ones.

The Coming of Butterflies - Zagreus/Thanatos, a Hades fic

Out of My Hands and Into Your Heart - Alan Wake/Fictional Alex Casey, an Alan Wake fic

5. Do you respond to comments?

Yes. I try to reply to every comment because I really appreciate people taking the time to leave them. It's easy to just read a fic and drop a kudos. It takes more time to think of something to say.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Well, Out of My Hands is a tragedy, so I think that qualifies as angstiest. However, I think several of my Trench/Darling fics are angsty given the nature of the pairing.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

The Runaway Rabbit had a very uplifting ending, for being a sex pollen fic.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not in recent years, but I've received 2 hate comments in the past.

9. Do you write smut?

Yep. E rated fics are my most common on my profile!

10. Craziest crossover?

I'm not a fan of crossovers, but I have some ideas being cooked up for my third installment of my Fictional CaseyWake story that are crossover-esque.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Thankfully not, I'd be extremely angry if that happened.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes, I've had a few translated, namely The Coming of Butterflies.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes, I've written several fics with @rangerzath. From OCs and beyond, we've written a lot together. We've recently started collaborating on comics, which has been a lot of fun!

14. All time favourite ship?

Trench/Darling

15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I don't know about doubting. I don't want to close the door on anything. I want to get back to Days of Thunder and Forever and Always someday!

16. What are your writing strengths?

I like to think I write characters in character really well, like I capture their voices accurately. So dialogue, then.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Finishing stories. Not becoming discouraged. Staying motivated. Resisting the urge to publish prematurely. Descriptions take a lot of time and thought. I try not to be repetitive, too, so it requires needing to get extra creative for said descriptions.

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I think there's a time and place for it.

19. First fandom you wrote in?

If we're talking about the original... then Inuyasha lol.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Out of My Hands and Into Your Heart. I tried my best to write a story detailing Alan's life before Bright Falls, his struggles, his moments of joy. I really just wanted to explore what could have led to Alan killing off Casey in The Sudden Stop. I wanted to explore the Writer's Journey(TM) and all the victories and setbacks creatives experience, because that vicious cycle is very much at the heart of Alan Wake as a series. I think I'll always be proud of it for what it accomplished, and I'm very pleased it's a finished story under my belt too. One) A cute Jesse/Emily Control fic

Two) A porny TF2 Sniper fic 

Three) A sad Stan centric Gravity Falls fic

5. Do you respond to comments?

I try very hard to, but sometimes there's a big delay since my brain isn't CONSISTENTLY functional.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Okay, MOST of my fics are unfinished, but maybe the Octavia/Miller fic that fits just inside of canon, The Last Few Firsts? Or the Prey fic Complimentary Colors, because while my ending is hopeful for canon, man, that canon is GRIM.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Either The Eighth Floor of the Panopticon is a Lost and Found or Parahelion, simply because both of those fics are very alice-of-life and end in an upbeat note. 

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Nope, I sometimes think that you need to get pretty BIG to get hate.

9. Do you write smut?

Yes. Just yes. 

10. Craziest crossover?

I was working on a Supernatural/X-Files crossover based around Scully meeting Castiel and having her faith confirmed and it going WEIRDLY, but it remains unpublished. 

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No, again: I'm a nobody. 

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, but I've had someone podfic them!!!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I've had friends (HOOT) mentally walk me through plot points (like my Gravity Falls fic), or even give me ideas they didn't wanna write (my current WIP for Fallout 4, centered around STURGES of all people). But that's it. 

14. All time favorite ship?

Tough call, gonna have to cut back to the Source Material for this one and call it a ship I e never written for: Tulio/Miguel/Chel. You know I'm right, objectively.

15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Oh god, yeah, all of em? The least likely to be finished is probably the Crimson Peak one. 

16. What are your writing strengths?

Not much other than a good sense of character tone/voice. I'm pretty proud of some patches of dry humor, but that's a taste thing. 

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Oh you know, everything not character tone/voice..? Uh, plot, pacing, overarching themes, telegraphing anything ever. 

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

My opinion: it's never appropriate to use another language unless the fic is meant to be read without any NEED for understanding that second language at all. If your side characters are speaking a foreign language and the main character doesn't KNOW that language, and you want to play up that alienation? That's good use of foreign language in a fic! If the characters are speaking pigeon, or an amalgam of several languages, but there's enough context that no translation is actually needed? Good use! Other than those, I think you need to write in one language at a time. 

19. First fandom you wrote in?

Wrote in? Probably either The Vampire Chronicles or Heathers.Posted online for? Daredevil.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Both of my Prey fics, but Lucid Inescapable Rhythms slightly more. It's my least popular fic, for a ship with a total of FOUR fics on AO3 but I'm just super happy with it. The characters were awesome to write for, the universe is weird and sad and pessimistic, the relationship makes both zero sense and perfect sense, I love it. It probably has typos tho…

Technically no, but Bosco is a nickname of my dad's that I took because he got tired of people calling him that. It didn't solve the problem, only created more confusion

I can't remember specifically but it was recent. There's always a couple of weeks during the spring when my brain chemistry is changing back to its normal state after seasonal depression and it's just as bad as going into it.
