I did take a break from writing fic, but I’ve gotten back into it now. That CasFin FiNer fic for Hanna is not a boy’s name. 

Today I wrote quite a bit, and that’s good. I’m excited to continue. I’m getting somewhere. There’s DRAMA and stuff. It’s just taken me a while, but each iteration is a little bit stronger, better and coherent

I just need to keep practicing to keep at it. Writing and consistency is a skill that can be honed like any other skill, i suppose. gotta practice writing a little bit every day

I am absolutely mortified how long it’s taken already. But I’ve tried hard to not make this fic project into something I dread working on. It’s mostly always a positive experience, smth I want to make better, just for me, bc there’s probably not many still active in the fandom who’ll see this fic anytime soon. What do I want to read? And then I try to write it

4 chapters and the epilogue left. It’s getting close now. (then I’ve got to polish it, though, but that’s easier than this) I’m very excited to finish something. But those chapters will probably be long. It’s the climax of the story. Except this next bit im writing tomorrow. That’s so much angst and fluff >:)

If you’re curious, I’m working on the NaNo Novel I did for 2015 (the book this picture was from). I had put it aside for awhile for various reasons, but I do want to get it finished and out.

It’s definitely my next published book and I’m looking forward to you guys getting to read it.

It’s also a long one for me, currently over 80k. Even Obsidian of Ruby barely made it past the 50k novel cut off (and a few people still call it a novella...).

So LC’s 17th birthday was two days ago, and this is a little preview of the ridiculous humongous thing I’ve been making for it.  I also thought now was a good time to do the retrospective that I always do around this time each year.

So!  2018 was... well, okay, so it truthfully wasn’t the greatest year for LC.  I only published four chapters (with a fifth soon-to be posted) compared to twelve last year.)  There are a number of reasons for that, which I won’t go into here.  But on the plus side, I did do a lot, and I mean a lot of art for the fic.

Additionally, I did do NaNoWriMo for the first time since 2015!  Seeing as that was the month that got me back into writing in the first place (and helped me solidify once and for all what this fic is actually about) it was pretty exciting to do it again.  For this November, I decided to blitz as much of Book 2 as I possibly could, and it was reasonably successful!  Even though I only wrote 15,259 words, I now have a solid draft of the fic all the way until Chapter 47, which is more than enough to carry me all throughout 2019.  I barely had to throw out any content from NaNo15, and I got to discover all sorts of fun little moments to look forward to that weren’t in the original outline at all.  The Hoenn arc finally has a sensible course of events (even if the Aqua chapter took quite a bit of wrangling) and a lot of characters wound up surprising me.  I even found ways to work in foreshadowing for some core Book 3 elements!

But yeah, I think it’s finally safe to say that my fear of being paralyzed and unable to continue with Book 2 is no more.  So here’s to another year with many more chapters to come!

one shots usually! my ideas tend to be pretty intense and it can be hard to sustain that through multiple parts, but every once in a while it happens. I do write at least one very long thing a year for nanowrimo although posting it is another matter. nano15 was kind of an anomaly that turned into something greaaaat

rose: which of your works is your favorite? why?

hmmmm you know I think this changes everytime someone asks me?? I like Run So Far a lot and it’s a pretty big personal accomplishment. It was fun to write aaaand a lot of fun to put something out every week or few weeks, really kept me on my toes. Plus you know I fucking love wincestiel more than anything on earth and I think I went about getting everyone together in a fairly unique way. Plus y’know people seemed to like it so that’s a bonus.

Nano [NANO] can be used for rock, metal, and more music purchases!

NANO can be used for purchasing old record tapes, rock music CDs and music related merchandise through the UK based online store. In short, NANO has made its entry in the online retail store of UK. 

NANO recently announced their customized wallet named ‘Jolt’. The team of Jolt also declared their official launch and were promoted by their very first endorser, NANO. Jolt is a brand new hardware wallet in the market that manages cryptocurrencies.

A few weeks ago the person-to-person betting exchange website called PVP.ME had announced their collaboration with NANO, a low-latency payment platform. PVP.ME used NANO Block-lattice technology, which eradicated the waiting time on micro-transactions.

NANO has been rapidly growing in the market. They are spreading their wings and have made implementation of NANO payment gateway easy by launching wallets and giving importance to new platforms who support NANO.

Today, a Redditor posted on NANO’s Reddit about how users can buy music and different products from his website using NANO as the payment method.

The owner of the online music store on Reddit says:

“Hey everyone! I’m the owner of the ambient label Insight Music based in the UK and I’ve recently implemented the Nano payment gateway to our official website.”

Not only is the flexible payment is available on the store items, but NANO users also get discount.

The music store owner and Redditor posted:

“Until the 18th June, you can use the coupon code ‘nano15’ to receive 15% off full priced items.”

Rigidyork, a Redditor says:

“Awesome website, we need more websites like this who are accepting Nano.”

Ho concluso così il NaNo, con una settimana in cui la voglia di passare ad altro era forte ma mi sono (un po’) costretta a rimanere nel progetto a cui avevo applicato il target del NaNo per pigrizia.

Poi essere in pre-mestruo non mi aiuta la creatività, quindi voglia di plottare saltami addosso.

Avrei potuto raggiungere le 75k, ma mi sembrava di aver fatto abbastanza l’over-achiever. 

Alla fine della fiera, ho idee per altri progetti originali e una certa voglia di rimettere mano ai progetti fandomici. Aver trovato una tecnica che mi potrebbe aiutare a concludere le due long dei NaNo15/16 mi incoraggia parecchio... se non fosse che con la mente sono in tutt’altro periodo della storia di Arda.

(Ebbene sì, sono tornata con la testa nel legendarium, è estremamente difficile allontanarmene).

This Woman Believes That She Is A Cat Trapped In A Human Body

A Norwegian woman who dresses as a cat and speaks in ‘meows’ has revealed that she believes she was born feline.  

Interviewed for the Norwegian NRK P3 Verdens Rikeste Land YouTube channel, she said, ‘I'm Nano, 20 years old. I have been a cat all my life.’

'I realised I was a cat when I was 16 when doctors and psychologists found out what was "the thing" with me. Under my birth there was a genetic defect.’

Nano says that she sleeps on a windowsill, speaks to a friend in meows - but admits she has never actually caught a mouse.

She can, however, see and hear things which other people can’t:'Suitcases rolling on the ground. Keys clinking in pockets. People with ice crampons under their shoes.'

'Sometime I hiss when meeting dogs in the street. It's because of their behaviour and my instinct automatically reacts by hissing.'

'You can hear a lot better than regular people, and you can see much more. 'You focus on things that normal people can't.'

'My psychologist told me I can grow out of it, but I doubt it. I think I will be cat all my life.'

another chapter done. though i believe i will combine the next chapter with this. i’ve started reading a bit more fics, and it’s made me feel better abt everything, generally. People are just writing for fun, writing what they like, as long or short as they want to. i can literally not do this wrong.

I finished going through all my beta reader’s notes for my NaNo15 novel, and now I’m doing one last read through/content edit.

Though I can tell I haven’t looked at this in forever, because I’m rewriting a lot of it. This tells me how old it is because I’ve gotten to the “I can do better” stage of editing. And the ending needs a total rewrite now that I’m looking at it closer.

Pros: The book will be much better. And I’ll be happier with it. Win-win for everyone.

Cons: It’s going to be released even later than I intended. (I wanted it out last summer, if you wanted my actual in-house time table).

At least I’m working on it again. It’s been too long since I felt good about something I was writing (that wasn’t fanfiction, which has dominated my writing this past year).

Also, this book is over 80k. I forgot what it was like to work on a book that long. XD *clings to her novellas*
