I know this was said days ago and the subject is probably dropped but for some reason I can’t reply on my own posts but-
I’m so happy someone else also thinks Nanami would mentor Junpei!! I love thinking Junpei would see Nanami similarly to a father figure eventually, the more Nanami takes Junpei on missions with him and Nanami gets Junpei to feel some sense of self worth eventually 🥺 I also think Junpei would pick up on calling Nanami ‘Nanamin’ because of Yuji’s habit of calling him that 🌸
YESSSSSSS a fellow Mentor Nanami Mentee Junpei supremacy friend ... SAME BRAIN 🧠 (^∇^)ノ♪ also OMG I JUST SAW YOUR MENTOR NANAMI MENTEE INO AND JUNPEI ARTWORK AJSHSHSHSJ I LOVE YOUR ARTSTYLE sm 💕💕
I think Junpei would definitely be slightly scared of Nanami at first, especially given that he's this strict uptight looking adult and he hasn't really had good experiences with this type of adults, but I think his mindset of Nanami would change when the higher ups are discussing about what to do with him and Nanami stands up for him and speaks up about how he turned against Mah***, which means he can be taught to use his Shikigami and cursed energy for good ... Junpei would be really touched and grateful towards Nanami I think
And definitely !! Nanami will praise Junpei after every single mission, no matter how easy or difficult it was and makes sure Junpei feels a sense of accomplishment instead of " ahh I didn't do well enough ... I'm so bad at this ", and after he finds out about how Junpei didn't really get encouragement by his teachers in the past, I think he'd be really encouraging and throw in a praise or two here and there just to see Junpei brighten up ^^ AND I think Junpei would seek Nanami out outside of missions as well, like when he needs to ask for advice on what he should do in certain situations, he always talks to Nanami because Nanami's very comforting and gives the best advice EVER <33
AND Junpei would definitely see Nanami as a fatherly figure, I imagine one day Nanami brings him out for their regular after mission lunch and he's going " You did a really good job, Yoshino-kun, I'm proud of you " and Junpei blurts out, " Thanks dad " and Junpei's absolutely mortified and he thinks Nanami's going to get mad, but Nanami just thanks Junpei for seeing him as a fatherly figure and goes " I'll be here if you ever need someone to talk to "
I'd like to think that Junpei, when he's awkward with Nanami at first, calls him " Nanami sensei " and nothing Nanami says can change that because Junpei just keeps calling him sensei, but slowly as Junpei starts getting closer and more comfortable to Nanami ( and the rest, especially Yuuji ), one day he just calls Nanami " Nanamin " and from then on it just sticks, and Nanami doesn't mind because he always likes it when his mentors don't see him as this lofty " too good for you low level sorcerers " mentor, but rather someone they can be comfortable around and talk to about anything 🍰
Also on this note, to everyone here my asks are open so if you have a particular concept you want more hcs about or you have a concept you'd like me to talk about let me knowwwww I enjoy talking about concepts a lot they're super fun (´∩。• ᵕ •。∩`) (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
