         a foot rests on the seat of his chair, tucking his small frame further into the chair as he uses his knee to support his sketchbook. he isn’t working on anything special— more so doodling the flowers that reside in the vase on his coffee table— but uses the busyness of his hands as a way to keep his mind from wandering. it clearly doesn’t work because he lifts his eyes from the page and addresses raena instead, “do you ever wonder what your life would be like if you’d never been turned? sometimes all i can think about are those what ifs.” so much for a light afternoon.

“Mint, Mina, Bolin and Xiang for the coven. I… don’t really associate with any lycans. I wouldn’t be their favorite person if they’ve spent much of their time in east Asia, I would assume.”
