22/7 (nanabun no nijyuuni) is an anime series in the Music genre that aired in 2020. The anime series, jointly licensed by Funimation and Crunchyroll, gained viewers from all over the world. The first season of the anime was prepared by A-1 pictures, a diligent animation studio. We know the studio for one of the most recent successful anime, “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War”. Anime was originally aired on many local channels (Tokyo MX, GTV, GIT, BS11, ABC, Metele, CS Nippon, abematv) in January 2020. It made the season finale on March 28, with the 12th episode. Later, the series appeared before the audience again on September 16 with an OVA episode. Well, will there be a second season of the series?1 What was about Anime: 22/7 about?2 Will there be a second season of 22/7?What was about Anime: 22/7 about? The anime depicts the unknown aspects of the creation process of the idol group 22/7 from its members’ perspective. When Miu Takigawa received the letter announcing his election as a new project member, he did not know that his life would change. Even though he doesn’t believe it, he goes on a journey to the place written in the letter. Seven other girls received the same letter as her. This is a huge top-secret facility. The girls are very surprised when they see this place. They are surprised that as an idol group, they will debut for a big record label. A type of idol never seen before will be born here. Will there be a second season of 22/7?The anime series has not yet been renewed for a second season. The source material for anime is usually manga. However, this time the situation is a little different. There is a manga adaptation available, but the script was created directly for the anime. The anime series seems to be planned for one season, and this anime, which only appeals to a certain audience, is not famous enough to make a sound from all over the world. He seems to have completed his mission with the first season, and it’s hard to see a second season. In addition, the 22/7 series has an ongoing variety show, named 22/7 Keisanchuu. The production, which is currently in its second season, is also followed by anime fans. It can be recommended for those who still haven’t discovered it. The show broadcast in Tokyo MX can be watched with English subtitles. On the other hand, the story was turned into an anime by CloverWorks, who we know from the Ace Attorney anime series before. Ano Hi no Kanojo-Tachi is the name of the 8-episode ONA typed anime released on March 28, 2018. Details can be found on the CloverWorks page.

re: lrb, I love 22/7 music. I didn't know about them before the anime and while most passed the show as forgettable, I think of it fondly. It wasn't a masterpiece but it introduced me to them. Some of my favourites have graduated from the group but I still love the music and some of the newer girls seem cool too.
Yeah, the songs are what I love the most. Many of them hit a great spot of melancholy and/or bittersweet. They are so, so good. <3
Two of my very favourites are Boku ga motteru mono nara (first vid) and Kaze wa fuiteru ka? (linking seiyuu dance vid cuz the character music vid is only short ver.) Boku ga motteru mono nara perfectly showcases what I mean by the melancholy/bittersweet, not only the music but the lyrics go like "I want you to smile and I'd gladly give what I have to you but what I have is not what you want" and "God said we are all equal but we are filled with despair" etc.

Nani ga shiteagerarenai is great too. And Muzui was the anime OP, I love it. It has some of the most depressing lyrics in their songs though, it asks why should we even live, lives are too long and it's difficult (muzukashii = muzui).

And then my favourite b-side, Rain of Lies:

Aaaaa I love them so much! <3 Some of their songs have hope and love in them too (for example Kimi wa Moon) but I like that they are not generally happy poppy kind. They also have a yuri song (Shampoo no nioi ga shita) and something coooompletely different in Tachitsuteto Power.
#the anime will never get another season but i'd love it#so i could get to know newer characters better#happy poppy is good too but variety is even greater and 22/7 are my melancholy fix#22/7#nanabun no nijyuuni
