I need to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming and let you all know I went to watch Blue Beetle yesterday and not only is it my new favorite movie it is the first time I, an avid superhero movie fan, saw myself on the big screen. As a Mexican-American I didn’t have any superheroes who looked like me growing up so seeing just how wonderfully and accurately they represent Mexican-American culture in this movie had me practically in tears the entire time. On top of that it’s also just a great movie and introduction to this character and I hope you all go and watch it
