30. Have you ever met a celebrity?

YES! More than one! The one that was the biggest deal to me was that I met Ed Sheeran! Now you need to understand: I was OBSESSED with him, from like 2012-2022. OBSESSED. So this was a VERY big deal for me lol.

It was 2014, at the beginning of the Multiply tour. A radio station was doing a charity auction for concert tickets + a meet and greet with Ed, with all the money going to a children's hospital. Soooo I spent like an entire week's pay 🙈 But I got to meet him! There was a group of like 20 or 30 of us in a small room, we all sat on the ground & he just stood in the front. I was in the front row! Like I was sitting maybe 3 feet from him the whole time! He played like 5 or 6 songs for us. When he first started playing he had some rubber thing in his guitar that makes it easier to play on a big stage but harder in a small room, so he pulled it out & tossed it on the ground & it landed right in front of me, and so when he finished playing he asked me to hand it to him! I almost DIED. And THEN, for the last two songs he asked us to give some suggestions and then he'd pick his favorites, and he called on me, AND he ended up playing the song I asked for! IT WAS SO FUCKING COOL AHHHHH. And he was SUPER nice. And then I got a picture with him:

Also an autograph! I have a recording of the whole meet and greet and I still watch it sometimes lol. It was SO COOOOOOOL!!!!

But he's not even the only celebrity I've met! In 2012, me & a friend went to Leaky Con (a Harry Potter convention). And I got to meet Evanna Lynch! She was super sweet. They ran out of time at her signing session and couldn't get everyone through the line, so she volunteered to do a 2nd session the next day even though she wasn't supposed to, so that we could all meet her. I don't have a picture with her, but I do have a shaky picture of her I took when I was in line, & I got her autograph:

And then I've also met almost all of Team Starkid (I think Darren Criss is the only one I HAVENT met). Some of them multiple times. At Leaky Con, at a performance of Starship, and at a performance of Airports for Birds.

Soooo yeah those are my stories. People say never meet your heroes etc but I have had nothing but absolutely lovely experiences with all of the celebs I've met ☺️
