Rereading these three posts of mine...
Sukuna's Backstory
A Journey
A Conversation
I had a collective thought about them and...
What if not only what happens next is Yuji and Sukuna boarding a train (in Yuji's Domain) and sitting down and having a conversation (like maybe even a verbal fight on morals and their opposing beliefs), but also Yuji somehow has this train ride where they go through Sukuna's memories?
Like, this is when we get his backstory (Sukuna's) or at least some of it that is necessary for him to remember and realize that he, too, is human?
I'm sitting here and recalling how with Choso and Todo, they had those fake memories involving Yuji.
Todo pretty much had a human connection with Yuji and Choso later chose to live as a human for Yuji.
They conjured up fake backstories that made them feel human because of Yuji.
Sukuna is someone who looks down on humanity, he rejects being a human. In one of my posts, I mention how when he does bring up his past (which isn't often) he seems almost slightly dismissive. It's like he doesn't care to reminisce on the time he reigned as the strongest. But what if it's the memories before he doesn't want to remember? The time he was at his more human state?
I'm imagining that Yuji gets Sukuna on a train makes him him remember how he felt to be human, might even conjure up fake memories as his critical attacks on Sukuna.
Force him to break down as Sukuna did him before. Get Sukuna to feel vulnerable just by using his words.
Instead of using malevolent means like Sukuna, someone who enjoys a fight, Yuji goes about a benevolent route by not physically fighting. But mentally and spiritually with words.
