Day 3 of #30daysofdoyouyoga with @doyouyoga and Day 3 of my #namaslaymarch self challenge with @beachbodyyoga πŸ’• Wore a hoodie today and booty shorts during my practice because 1. I wanted to get a little extra sweat going during my 30 minutes of balance work... and 2. Day 1 of my 30 Day Yoga journey is in the books! I kinda debated posting this because I feel like I look terrible. It's crazy how you are able to notice all your flaws when you take a video of yourself... but I put on my big girl panties, added some filters, and got over it πŸ˜‚ Why am I doing this? Well, to be honest, I feel like I need yoga. I've been in several car accidents in my life... the last one left me with bulging discs in my neck, pain in my shoulder, "popping" in my sternum, and it's also when I found out with the chiropractor that I had hyperlordosis. That causes my lower back to always feel super tight so I slouch to relieve pressure. Coupled with my neck pain, and big chest πŸ˜‘, I am like the Queen of Slouchland. My posture is terrible and I can feel the effect it's having on my body. While I'm doing my weight loss journey (30lbs by May!), I think adding a daily practice of yoga will help improve my posture and help my muscle recovery! Let's see how these next 30 days go! πŸ€ΈπŸ»β€β™€οΈβ€ #namaslaymarch (at Weston, Florida)
