wish i could be enjoying fingers in mouth tuesday but im watching fascinating (negative) indian regional politics play out in front of me. roja is a movie about a rural tamil woman who gets force-married to an english educated guy who then takes her to his military outpost in occupied kashmir where he gets kidnapped by ? random kashmiris in scarves? she also faces racism from the north indian soldiers who don’t take her seriously cuz she speaks “madrasi”. get me out of here.
