She heard that a harpy friend of hers had taken in a human mate which made her curiosity peak. For because for as long as she knew him. He was always a bit of a loner.

She had never been interested in taking in a mate before. But She never understood why a human? Taking in humans is mates was rare but not unheard of. Apparently humans are genetically compatible with monsters so she could understand pairings in the first place.

Until when she was hunting her eyes catch something. Pass the foliage, a waterfall with a small spring in the clear cool water a strange being before her bathing their soft smooth skin. She watched as their hands run all over their smooth body. She never seen a human in real life only Heard about them from the harpy that visits her frequently or her other friends spinning tales of their encounters but seeing when in person they're so.... Small, short... Their legs in place of there serpentine bodies was weird but... Oddly hypnotizing. And the scent, was strong and captivating mixing in with the natural scent of the jungle. As well as heat, body heat. Every time she flicks her tongue practically feel the heat radiating off you even from here. Before she knew it her body was already in the water and you hadn't noticed the waterfall blocking your hearing.

Eager to get a closer look. She stalks closer sharp red eyes eyeing up her prize, You're so small she can't get over it! It feels like she's sneaking up on prey as her fangs drip with venom; she's practically drooling at your scent.

Your mind turned off when you finally turned around noticing her. You are so scared You just froze up. She stares at you with curiosity with a smile on her face that makes your body shiver. You've seen hybrids before demi-humans capable of speech but prefer to live in the wild. And you heard that nagas can be pretty domineering and territorial so doing anything that might irritate them would be a bad idea."H-hi" You squeak. "Hey." She hisses back.

She thinks Your voice shrill She could smell your fear It makes her want to tease you but judging by the way you're shaking and your heart racing It would probably not be a good idea for now. She feels you flinch as she brushes her claws against your soft skin. Larry was right humans are soft. He was not kidding when He told her and the rest of their friends "they're skin is resilient yet soft Sometimes I fear my claws might make my wife bleed."

"what's someone like you doing so far from home." She smiled her eyes half lit. Your heart pounds in your chest as you stumble to answer "vacation; got lost..."

" Come closer I won't bite." She gives you a toothy grin She couldn't help herself showing off a little bit of her fangs.

She aches to feel your warm skin against her scales. All she can think about is claiming you as a mate. Never felt the urgency to claim someone so strongly before. But you look as though that one small movement from her will scare you away. She can't have that. By the look in your eyes it's safe to say that you like what you see which is good, Great even; because the feeling is mutual and she's about to try to seduce you.

Huh. Mer Piers isn't part Pokemon tho, can't really think of any Dark/Water types that would suit him. He doesn't seem like a Mega Gyarados or a Sharpedo? Hmmm.

I don't think I even thought of basing him on a Pokémon back when I drew him, now when I think about it! I just immediately saw him resembling his hair, which made me google striped fish. I was also tempted to base him on some snake, but that would make him a naga, not a merperson. O:

One idea would be to base him on a non-water Pokémon anyway! For example; I see Rika having a tail based on Flygon, despite of Flygon not being a water-type. :D I just see it fitting her, since Flygon is ground type and green.

Browsing a list of dark type Pokémon, I could see a mer-design based on Darkrai, Galarian linoone, Hydreigon or Weavile, for example. Then again, Hisuian Qwilfish and Overqwil are also fish that are dark type! Malamar could also work, and Piers also has one in his team!
