   Nael, being an avid reader with nothing much to do, has obtained some books here and there since arriving in the isla. Some of them were left possessions from the first pirata assigned to him. Other books were asked personally from other piratas and/or were borrowed from fellow royals..

😄 A memory that makes the muse happy

   Nael was a wee little thing, a mere 7 year old, when his baby brother, Mateo, was born. And boy, was the principe excited to finally have a sibling to play with. More so, he had found out that his sibling would be a boy! What joy! 

   Little Nael spent the rest of Mateo’s infancy being a doting big brother. When his madre allowed him to, he would bottle feed baby Mateo. He would pick out outfits for baby Mateo to wear, and pose with him so that they could be photographed together. Nael had also set aside his favourite toys to lend his brother for when he grows up. 

   Even as a child, Nael swore to take good care of his sibling, no matter what. To this day, he keeps with him this memory, reminding himself of the promise he made, with the intention of fulfilling and seeing to it until the very end.

😄 A memory that makes the muse happy 

   Nael was 12 when his padre finally allowed him into the royal study. The room had been off-limits to him before, owing to his youth. When he hit 12, however, his father began to sing a different tune. 

   And though clueless as he was regarding the terms his padre and his counsel threw around, it was the first time the Argentenean truly felt the weight of his title. It was the first time he truly felt of the importance of his name, as well as the responsibility he held. There was much pride that swelled in him, strengthening his ideals and belief that one day, he too would like to be King, respected and revered as his father. 

   But before the day ended, his padre himself reminded him: “You are born for this role, Nael. And one day, I truly believe that you will have what it takes to succeed me. And when the time comes, I will be glad to step down, knowing that you will lead justly and fairly.” 

   The words continue to inspire him, even to this day.

💘 A memory where the muse was in love

   It was the 23rd of February, when Nael looked into Laela’s bright eyes with adoration. The princesa had cooked for him yet again, sending his heart fluttering. Only she had ever gone to so much effort for him. 

   After finishing off another piece of garlic bread, he then took a cool sip of water, before continuing to speak. His mind had been ultimately made up. “I would not want to search nor look for anyone else, querida. You are it for me.” It was an admission, one that the principe was more than proud to state.

   Nael, when he was 27 and visiting Italy whilst staying at the Italian palace, once dropped his hook-up date in favour of comforting a sobbing Laela. The principe was all set to leave when he chanced upon the Italian princesa, crying out and looking highly distressed. He knew then that he could not leave her in such a wrecked state. Despite having smoothed things over and readied for his hook-up date, Nael decided to cancel his plans and sit by her side instead, consoling his querida.

   “The day mi madre and mi padre came home with our unica princesa, Paula. The look on my parents’ face was priceless. It was truly the look of love. I have never seen them any more happier than the day that Paula finally was with us.” @delafuentepaula

   The soonest Nael found out that Aria was tortured as well, the principe bolted. There was only one course of action in his head. One that needed to be carried out immediately. He searched high and low, up and down the island, until finally, he found her. Without another word leaving past his lips, Nael merely looked at her for a second, broken-hearted in his gaze, before enveloping his arms around her in an embrace. And when he finally found the strength to speak, all that left were: “I know of the pain. I am sorry that they have hurt you, too.”

   Suffice to say, between Nael and Paula, it is the latter who has more fire behind their eyes. That being said, Nael has learned to be wary of his sister, considering the little habit she had formed of whacking him in the back of his head whenever he would say something crude or crass in jest. Their madre had told them off to not act in such way in public. Thus, the act is now especially performed behind the four corners of their home, especially when madre or padre is not looking.

Sophie: 💬

   Ever since patching him up, Nael has continued to bug Sophie about allowing him to use her villa’s kitchen to cook. Unfortunately, there is no success. @sophie-dragic

  On her 25th birthday, Nael had gifted Laela enough flowers of various varieties to fill her entire bedroom. The gift was passed off as a token of love from the country of Argentina, despite it being a personal gesture from Nael.

   “From the age of 21, Nael has been notorious for his strings of one night stands and hook-ups. To the public’s knowledge, he had dropped the ‘habit’ when he turned 26. Little do they know that his romps continue, although it has now turned into a club for the hand-picked and selected few. There are at least 4 girls and 3 guys in Nael’s secret rendezvous circle, all of whom whose silence are bought. The circle sees to it that the prince’s sexual needs are met. 

    In the simplest of terms, they are his sugar babies.”

   Since their talk at the Canteen, Nael has kept a cautious eye on the Icelandic principe. There was something about him, about how he conducted himself, that wordlessly warned the Argentinian, as if to say that “that man is trouble”. Despite this, Nael continues to let him know of information asked from him, but refrains from indulging him everything.

🐰 - what’s one of your favorite childhood memories?

   “Another one: the day mi madre tried to sneak me out for helado without telling mi padre and the guards. It was a whole elaborate mission, with decoys and covers and outfit changes, only for mi padre to catch us no later than 20 minutes, thanks to the nosy photographers who had tracked us down. I was a headline in the news for the full day, all because of some helado!”

  “Our mother, Queen Lucia was not originally slated to marry our father, King Mattias. She was originally slated to marry our father’s cousin. But our dad, being the charmer that he is, managed to steal my mother away from our uncle. Needless to say, dad is no longer on speaking terms with the said cousin of his, and mother married into royalty anyway.”
