I reshare the story Gonzalo Guerrero for 1 main reason. ⭕ For Native descendents who feel it is "hopeless" to decolonize and reintegrate ourselves back to our ancestral cultures. Guerrero was able to become fully immersed in Mayan culture in just 8 years, and he was not even of Mayan descent. The main barrier to decolonization is you. You gotta want it.
