things you said at 1 am + the first ship that came to mind!

DANG I don’t think I’ve written at all about Naaffi and Delmy??? short asura/sylvari writtin ahead!

Why was it that mischief was always drawn to this time? Odd noises in Wardenhurst in the dead of night would have usually direceted Delmy to grab her hammer and nearest piece of armor but this particular clatter was of a benignly familiar sort. The soft shatter of glass came not from a window but a petri dish, and the curse not from an intruder but someone who should be beside her in bed. Wardenhurst sleep quarters were usually shared arrangements, but her in her years of service she had acquired and shaped a small hut of her own as her rest and workspace. A workspace that had acquired another member in the past months. Delmy strod out into the living quarters, flipping a leafy lobe over her more light-sensitive eye. The room was still illuminated by the lamps, light softly bleeding from the petaled bulbs. On the table numerous apparatuses were scattered, all cutesy of Delmy's girlfriend, who was presently fumbling around with a brush and pan attempting to sweep up all scattered glass. "Naaffi..." Delmy began quietly, yet still it seemed to shock the asura. "SHIT, Delm," the pudgy asura whipped her head around, ears at 90 degree angles to her head and thick hair contorted at even bizarrer angles. Black bags under her eyes contrasted starkly with her pallid greenish skin, complemented by the black lipstick smeared due to a drowsy absentminded hand. "Nearly scared half my bladder outta me, you usually sneak up on people this late?" "I doubt it was my approach that startled you insomuch as your state of exhaustion," Delmy replied soothingly. "Have you slept at all these past two nights due to that project?" "Biological cryodefense in Krytan skale genera." Naaffi slurred, dumping the glass shards into a small bin. She then shook the dustpan over at the microscope. "A comparative study with non-cryoresistant taxa, I'm close to discerning the biological mechanisms behind it, babe, I fuckin FEEL it." "One wonders how much you can discern such a lack of sleep." "Discovery never sleeps, Delms! Discovery! Never! Sleeps!" "Dicovery is going inevitably to collapse from exhaustion and cease all productivity if she keeps telling herself that." Naaffi let out a rattling puff of air from her mouth, Delmy knew it as a sign she was conceding. The asura leaned one of the rungs of her work stool, staring into the eye of the sylvari before her. It was true, Delmy thought, the statement Naaffi made in the past that their eyes were a near identical shade of red. "A strong counter point," Naaffi began, "but you will need some supplementary points to convince me to stray from such captivating work and to a bed." "It's a bed you share with me." Naaffi broke out into a smirk, "A compelling argument. I admit I must acknowledge that you present the more preferable situation. I will submit one request though." "And that is?" "Carry me?" The asura flashed a wink. "I actually don't think I can feel my legs anymore, Delms." The sylvari let out a low chuckle before scooping up Naaffi in her arms effortlessly. It didn't take long for the asura to doze off in her arms, a whistling snore coming from her teeth before they even crossed into the bedroom.

azad: 8, delmy: 15, naafi: 5, thales: 9, grunda: 12

Azad (What mistake(s) do they continue to make/have not learned from): “Don’t run off without serious consideration of what you’re doing/without telling anyone” Essentially even though he’s disturbed by how easily he can slip into full Risen attack mode when fighting anything related to the Elder Dragon (including Mordremoth after overcoming the initial creeped out factor) he hasn’t stopped doing things like attacking such things on impulse. Has also continued to make public scenes/confrontations that has lead to close calls in revealing his identity.

Delmy (How might they be ignorant or prejudiced?): Delmy’s pretty ignorant of most social mores from cultures outside the Grove and many gestures are met with a blank stare or a unexpected interpretation (first time she was offered a handshake she just touched her palm to the offered hand and stood unmoving for a while)  

Naaffi (What is one thing they do that can negatively affect their relationship with friends?): Habit of causing catastrophic property damage is probably the highest on the list

Thales (Name some of their major physical shortcomings.): He has respiratory issues bad enough that he can’t stand the Black Citadel/other charr manufacturing facilities/most Flame Legion territory 

Gundra (At least one thing that they tend to overreact to.): Trying to manipulate a deal so she gets the short end of the stick or refusing to pay her is a good way to get defenestrated.

Gundra: Reminder, Escape; Delmy: Jaded, Yack; Naaffi: Grudge, Vice

Gundra

Reminder: She doesn’t really remember daily needs she just fulfills them automatically when she can. Along with daily wants. She will throw daily responsibilities off the highest point in the Shiverpeaks.

Escape: Booze, pleasurable company, covering herself in valuable and expensive clothing and accessories she smuggled in for a bit, or throwing knives at the wall. She’s a grand champion of not being stressed.

Delmy

Jaded: For Delmy a “happily ever after” would have to depend on a multiple of different variables happening at the same time, that they persist until the end of your lifespan and that you do not tire at any of these variable, which is exceedingly unlikely. She doesn’t put much importance of her personal happiness either.

Yack: Business really. Either her work as a warden or the work of the person she’s talking to. She’ll talk philosophy too, but she’s rather steadfast in her views. Any other topic her replies are short and to the point.

Naaffi

Grudge: And insult is an easy way to get in a fist fight with her. And she will remember grudges for a LONG time.

Vice: Bad habits include easily getting into scraps with just about everyone and listening to instructions but doing what she wants to do instead. She also has an utter lack of shame.
