Sheesh, this guy. "Uhhhhh, that was a LOOOT of information. You coulda just said no?" With one eye closed, she reached over with her Ultra Hand, clicking it's little grippy things together so that it looked like she was squishing the octoling's head from her perspective. (She quietly muttered a little "squiiiish" to add to the illusion.)

"I'm not in charge of what Barry stocks here." She shrugged, setting her toy aside. "I just sell it, y'know?" She also bought a lot of the stuff they sold here too, which was part of the reason she'd been left in charge in the first place, but she wasn't about to tell this guy that she had at least 10 of those egg replicas back home. She just thought they were cute and fun to squish.

"Maybe you could take the real ones and replace them with these ones." She stated simply, grabbing one to toss up and down in her hands. The gaze of the (dying) clownfish that floated near her head followed its movement, up and down and up and down and up and down.

"I had a baby squid doll when I was a kid. Is that disrespectful too?" Though she asked in a flat, bored tone, she was genuinely curious as to what his answer might be.

Atlantis offers Frye a Coconut, quietly looking at her. Although staring would be the best comparison. After all, he feels quite bad about her multiple Festival loses - one after another. So, he decided Gifting her something delicious would be positive!

"Oh is this for me..? Thank you!"

A coconut. Was this supposed to make her feel better? If so it's a nice gift. Nothing too flashy, just simple! Gifts if they were food were always welcome. She won't lie... she is pretty bummed about losing so many fests, but as long as people had a good time partying that's all that really matters. Right?

Now the next question is-- What dish should she make with this coconut?

"If you have the motivation, I guess..." She gave a small shrug, implying that she, on the other hand, very clearly lacked that sort of motivation. Explaining things was the worst. She usually did her best to avoid explaining how she wound up 'working' at Hotlantis because it was too complicated to get into with every customer that walked through the door. She'd go into detail if asked, but she usually just said something along the lines of 'I don't really work here,' and tried to leave it at that.

"Oh. Yeah." A sigh of relief. "Good. I'm not gonna get canceled, then. The rest of the band would SUPER bummed if that happened..." Considering she was usually the fans' favourite, that would have been really bad. Phew.

She still didn't really get what was so wrong about selling salmon stuff, but so long as Atlantis was willing to explain, she was willing to listen. Even with all of the customers coming in and out, she got bored pretty easily. Having someone to talk to was nice, especially if she didn't have to do much of the talking herself.

"What was the terrible purpose? I kinda thought Salmon Run was just for fun, like turf wars..." She has clearly never been inside a Grizzco building in her entire life.

"It's much better to explain something then to simply say no, in my Opinion. It leads to learning stuff."

And he's always prepared to shared his knowledge anytime and every time he gets the Chance to! Even if he caught another pretending to Squish his head...(which made him hold back a giggle, because it was kinda funny...)

Though he will give her that - she is only the Seller, and has little to no say in the Stock. He shouldn't be mad at her. It's this Barry that is behind this Capitalist Scheme! Profiting off the Poor Salmonids as they have to defend their Territory! Cod DAMN Capitalism!

"After all, I'm pretty sure it was never normalized to Kidnap Baby Inklings from their Home for a terrible purpose..."
