If There is Something I Would Change about The Musical:

I have no clue. It’s done really well. I guess the pacing of the story is a little weird and Diana never really gets her closure with Gabe while Dan does, so maybe I’d add in the tiniest of scenes for that.

3: newsies on tour! one of the shows i caught on tour when i was starting to get Really Into theater. i’d seen a few before, but this is the second one after i started collecting playbills 

47: wicked on tour! there were a lot of understudies/alternates in for main roles this performance. i’m always happy to see alternates, personally. i’m still placing hexes and curses upon the woman who sat in front of me and pulled out her phone to record For Good tho

89: hadestown broadway !!!!! for as much of a bitch i am about this show and its revision history never let it be said that i am not still a big fan (i bitch because i Care <3). this was a high school graduation present and i even got to stagedoor and meet some of the cast after since it was before the plague happened lol

112: identifying info once again censored bc this was a production from my college this past spring! next to normal is my #1 fave show so i was of course delighted to be able to see it again in any capacity. i thought the performance was very good under the circumstances; our theater building was completely out of commission all year and so every drama performance was forced into the recital hall, which is not only not big enough for a stage play (let alone a musical w/ a band) not acoustically fit for a rock musical. oh well. i still cried lol

happy sleepover saturday!! do you have any comfort movies? or comfort shows/specific episodes?

the mitchells vs the machines is such a comfort movie. impossible not to be cheered by it. i really like rewatching the good place, if not as a comfort show specifically then as something familiar and easy to rewatch, but it is certainly comforting in its own way. i know you probably mean show as in tv show but as for stage shows it's next to normal and groundhog day. musicals that reset my brain

my saturday is good! i went to the farmers market and then the local hardware/convenience store to pick up some stuff i needed, did laundry, had a shower, went to see a show, and then cooked dinner with my friend! my frog fact for u today is that frogs blink their eyes to help swallow their food :)
