Algeria. Tameghilt, a traditional necklace from the Mzab Valley. It’s composed of three rectangular and two triangular-shaped hrouz meant to contain koranic verses to protect the holders from curse, each one of them has hand-shaped pendants. The silver tins are tied together with a long chain that ends with two silver made fibulae meant to hold the melhfa.
