Mysuru RPI suspended for taking money from woman constable trainees | Mysuru News - Net4News

MYSURU: A Reserve Police Inspector (RPI) attached to Police Training School (PTS), Mysuru, has been placed under suspension on charges of receiving money from probationary woman constables undergoing basic training at PTS. The payoff was received through digital wallet platforms, a probe has found out, according to cops. PTS Principal Dharnidevi Malagatti, an IPS officer, confirmed to TOI that RPI M Subramanya has been kept under suspension pending departmental inquiry by DGP. The officer was accused of collecting money from probationary constables. Following a complaint against the RPI of receiving money from woman constable probationers on August 4, a preliminary inquiry against the allegation was conducted and a report was submitted to IG (training). He was suspended on Tuesday, the Principal disclosed. In all it alleged that Rs 5.9 lakh have been collected from the probationers.
