I got some bad grades and feeling not so well because of that.

May I have some comfort from Saeyoung or Saeran?

Saeyoung was quick to take the papers from your hands and set it out of the way. He brushed his lips against the top of your head and let you settle into his arms, knowing that you would feel better if he kept you close to his heart. You were distraught. Yet, as much as it hurt you to hit a wall instead of climbing it, he had faith in the notion you would do better next time and that your ability to comprehend your work was not disproven by one bad mark.

After all, a bad grade wasn't proof that you were stupid. It was just a mark that said that you needed to practice more. "Kitten, you've got this. You're not stupid, you're not dumb, and you're most definitely not a failure because you're having a hard time. Not everyone can be some kind of fantastical genius... you're kind, you're smart, and you have the ability to change the world with a smile. Tests aren't easy for some people even if they know what they're doing. So, take a deep breath. I'm here. I've got you. You've got this. It's not the end of the world, love. Promise."

Actually, I do, and I’m glad you asked me because I’ve been thinking about it and wondered if I should make a post about how I feel about that or not and you just let me know that I should. 

Ray

In the game, your first kiss with Ray was when he felt at his lowest, gripping him by the shoulders and gently nudging him in for a kiss. It doesn’t last long but he doesn’t know what you did, he can’t discern the memory for what a kiss means at that moment. That being said, the first kiss with Ray is a very tender thing that is tentative and nervous. You’ll likely be the first one to make the first move with him given the circumstances no matter what. 

He will follow your lead with the kiss because he has no idea what he’s doing, and he’s never going to admit that he thought about kissing you before. You will have to move him just a smidge, grasp his hands in your hands and place them where ever you want them to be and he’ll keep his hands there until you tell him to take them away or nudge him to put them somewhere else. His lips are just a bit chapped, taste faintly of something sweet, and press so lightly against yours that he may not feel all that there. 

Your noses bump, teeth might bump, there’s a lot of nervous energy, it’s just going to be a little clumsy for a first kiss, is what I’m saying. He gasps quite a bit, and a few mewls make him feel embarrassed and not skilled enough for you. 

Suit Saeran

There’s a kiss with Suit Saeran that he takes for himself and calls it the worst kiss of his life. It lasts much longer than that kiss with Ray as if he’s trying to steal the life from you, or the remaining memory of Ray that exists in your mind, it’s hard to say for certain. That kiss is something that is passionate, angry, and just fraught with all kinds of feelings that are hard to express and feel wrong if you say just one word. 

Saeran is the one that takes charge and pulls you into a kiss, and you will never get the chance to take that from him, he won’t let you make the first mood as he is straining for control. There will be a hand at the back of your head, gripping your hair, or gripping your cheek, and the other hand will be holding your waist or your other free hand. He kisses you with fierceness, but don’t think that his confidence shows that he knows what he’s doing.

There’s a lot of teeth clacking here, more than he’ll admit. He will growl and nip at your lips if you dare look away from him, or claim that he’s a bad kisser. His lips are just as chapped, but the taste of sweetness is more of bitter chocolate than anything. 

Saeran

Saeran is a bit more used to the idea of kissing you by the time you reach the end of the route. He feels like he’s ready for kissing and he feels like he can put his heart into it, and not make you feel like you’re the one that has to press or that has to submit. He wants to share a kiss with you, not kiss you if that does make any sense. It feels like you can steal a kiss from his lips whenever you want, and he’ll chuckle all the same when he steals a kiss from your lips. One kiss with him leads to many more. 

He would say that his first real kiss with you was in the garden, as he poured his heart out to you and promised to protect you. As he cups your face in his hands and whispers just how much you mean to him. His lips feel soft, and that sweet feeling is still there, as it always will be. This kiss is made up of many kisses, to be honest with you. He brushes his lips against you, pausing to pull away to tell you how he cherishes you, only to kiss you again. 

He can’t bring himself to stop saying it or doing it. His forehead is pressed against yours and his heart jumps when your hands clutch at his shoulders. It feels like you can’t breathe but you don’t want the kiss to stop. 

Unknown

There may not be a kiss with Unknown to get our base value from, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t infer how it would be. Unknown is a very focused person and shows a lot of indifference to the people around him as he is very fixated on his revenge and what it will feel like. He is passionate and strongly in the way of arrogance. He wants to control things but he wants you to feel like you’re in control, only for him to snap it away from you at the last second cause’ it’s hilarious. 

A kiss with him would be fleeting in the dead of night as it is how he is with the rest of the world. When he feels like he can open up to you about himself, and about his life. You’ll slowly entrap yourself in his space, likely edging forward until you’re sitting in his lap and he’s got his hands on your hips as you listen to him speak, and oh-so-carefully curls your fingers into his messy hair. You would be the one to lean in first, brushing your lips against his. He would let you get comfortable, right before his hands squeeze at your skin and you gasp, giving him the time to brush his tongue past your lips. 

This is just passionate and a heated fever. It feels like he’s kissed someone before, but who can say? His lips are unbelievably soft. He never once stops staring into your eyes with that cocky look.

How will I know if I’m on my way to a bad ending? I just did the day 9 branch for rays route and I want the second bad ending and the first Visual Novel after the branch seems like the normal one did I mess up?

Hm. Okay, that’s really tricky. If you get a visual novel after the Branch opens up and the story continues, well, you didn’t get the Bad Ending. If you got a visual novel and it plays out the Bad Ending, there you have it. At the branches are the points where the endings occur, so if it turned out to be normal, then I’m afraid you’ve missed that drop window. Ray’s endings are really difficult to deal with, especially the last two, whereas that first one is really easy to get in my personal opinion. 

You’ll need to pay attention to what you’re clicking. There are very different choices laid out. You’ll know you’re getting there when you see more and more points that lead to it. My advice for BE3 is to click every option that makes you see Saeran as powerful, bow your head, give up, listen to his orders, and do all that he asks, don’t shout for Ray, don’t fight back. 

Give up. 

That’s the sure way to get it.

I did Saerans route before Vs route and I know my heart is going to break based off spoilers that I’ve seen ugh why can’t I just have both of them why does this game like to break my already fragile heart

It is. It will. It hurts. It’s Otome and nothing is ever quite perfect. Although, there is a drastic shift in what way things go from V Route to Ray Route, and that shift is something that’ll slap you in the face in rapid succession, and I felt like it just kept pushing me down back when V Route first came out and I was playing. The loss of agency and trying to control what you can’t... 

Ouch.
