Malva seeds now available at www.trueloveseeds.com! Succulent greens with striking tall spikes loaded with deep purple flowers. We found these seeds at a seed swap with only the word "Malva" written on the packet. Our hope was that this would be the variety called Khobeizeh (meaning mallow in Arabic) in Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan and the Middle East in general. Khobeizeh is sautéed mallow greens with onions and a squeeze of lemon, and indeed this here mallow tastes great when cooked in this fashion. However, our Palestinian farmer and chef friends tell us our flowers are a bit too dark compared to theirs. It looks and grows very similarly to Malva sylvestris var. mauritania - particularly the variety called "Mystic Merlin," which blooms all season like ours! 24-48" tall. Please let us know if you recognize this variety! We would love to know more about it, but we already love it as is, and will keep growing it at our farm for its beauty and deliciousness. Following the fire at the White Willow Clinic, Harriet Gray founded the Mystic Merlin Clinic on her property in London.

While St Mungos is tasked with more serious injuries and illnesses, the Mystic Merlin can be attended by anyone seeking treatment for minor injuries or illnesses, and Harriet herself specializes in a mixture of naturopathy and science, often treating a variety of overlooked ailments in the magical world, and under researched sicknesses in the muggle world.

The clinic encourages a healthy lifestyle and promotes natural treatments, but being a qualified doctor, Harriet also uses traditional prescriptions for those more stubborn cases! When necessary, the clinic will refer patients to St Mungos for further tests and treatments, as she works closely with them and will sometimes even make visits to give her advice or perspective on those unusual lumps and bumps.

It is open from 9am to 5pm every day, seven days a week to anyone who needs a little help and encouragement with their health and well being, although on occasion when St Mungos can’t immediately treat a serious injury often sustained in battle, Harriet will wake up at any hour to aid her friends should they need her, no questions asked.
