i just randomly went digging and reblobbed a few of your old book recs posts

very inspired to ask: what do you think is the best book that intoduces a methodology of working with astrological magic? i saw you mention working with mercury during the mercury retrograde and im interested in picking up that habit

There isn't one that I've read so far, sorry to say.

Pretty much all of the books on astrological magic borrow from or directly use the Kabbalah and that's appropriation unless you have the right to that culture.

(I'd love suggestions if somebody has read a book on astrological magic that doesn't reference Jewish mysticism)

I have read a few that didn't but they were all very meh.

I have a bunch of posts that I've written about how I work with Mercury during their retrograde cycle, you should be able to find them by going through my Mercury retrograde tag on my blog.
