Happy Easter everyone! For the first time in five years, I'm getting to celebrate with my parents. They're currently staying in a pretty little town called Huntingdon, just north of Cambridge. Right around the corner from their house is the DeRamsey Estate. Naturally they made friends with the head gardner, Gavin. Yesterday we were invited for a tour of the private estate where we learned about how they tend to the land, the immense planning that goes into keeping up the 2,500 acre grounds as well as the rare finds throughout the garden. We were all blown away by all the thought and care that goes into keeping the place running and as beautiful as it was (even in the winter!).
