malabar grey hornbill ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ spotted a pair right on the chikoo tree outside our window. This is the smaller of the pair with a white beak, the other #hornbill (not in frame) was larger, had a prominent orange beak. They are always seen in pairs. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ These birds are frequent visitors but rarely ever found so close to ground, the only guess would be they came looking for food or lack of tall trees around, since many trees have been uprooted in the cyclone, the monsoons or simply cut.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Turn the sound on to hear it squawk.
