This will forever be one of my favorite photos of my grandma. She loved to shaka in pictures for some reason haha.

Last night, I got a phone call from my mom telling me my grandma was not doing well and that the nurses say she may not have much time left.

I instantly cried for a long time while on the phone with my mom. I’m about to cry again just writing this! I know I shouldn’t be greedy or sad to have her here on earth longer but I can’t help it. My grandma helped raised me and I saw her every single day for 22+ years.

Things like these make it extra hard being thousands of miles away from home.
