Finding her again

After the fight on New York, Loki was staying at the Avengers Tower with the Avengers. "Have you found her?" Loki asked, it had been two months since he had moved in and he had been worried about Bera. Thor looked at his brother as he opened his mouth, The red haired elf walked into the kitchen not seeing Thor or Loki.

Tears formed in Loki's eyes as he saw the love of his life. The Jotun looked at her astonished, the elf that he hadn't seen in about 600 years hadn't changed at all in that amount time. "Kit- Kitten" He whispered slowly.

Bera stopped in her tracks when she heard the nickname, She turned to look where the voice had come from as her eyes moved from Thor to Loki.

"Lo-Loki...." She whispered, "What- What are you doing here?" She asked watching Loki as she looked him up and down.

"Thor thought it would be a good idea for me to stay here for awhile since I cannot go home" Loki told her, "I've been here two months and I haven't seen you... where... where have you been?" He asked taking a couple more steps closer to her.

Bera looked up at him slowly, "I have people in Norway that respect me and needed my help, I have known their families for over 600 years. I needed to help them. That's where I have been, In Norway helping my people. They became my people when your father banished me from Asgard and you did nothing... At least Thor had the bǫllrs to stand up for me... You stood there in supposed shock.." She told him slowly.

Loki sighed as he looked down and closed his eyes, That moment had replayed in his mind repeated in his mind for over 600 years. He hated that he had not done anything. He blamed himself for her banishment, for her being alone for that long.

"I'm so sorry, Pet" He whispered shaking his head. "I should have said something, I should have been the one to speak out against Odin when he banished you... I had just... Just proposed to you and he..."

Loki looked over at his elf before his bottom jaw dropped, the elf was still wearing the ring with his colors on. "You still.... you're still wearing my ring... Do you... Do you still love me?"

Bera watched him for a moment, she slowly began to smile. "Frosty, I will always love you, You are the God of Mischief.. I have never faulted you for that." She told him smiling, The God smiled mischievously.

"I'm glad, my pet" He said before kissing her passionately. "I still love you too"
