Just incase anyone wants to know how the great "I can't lose weight unless you go on a diet with me and you can feel my pain, but this is not a competition" competition is going... someone had home cooked chicken casserole for tea tonight and the other one had an apple a banana two Tim tams and a can of diet Coke for dinner because he had eaten crap all day and had a sausage roll on the way home from work and felt sick so didn't want to have tea...just as well it's not a competition I say!!! #itsafineline #myhusbandsaclown #itsokcosheisdoingjacobsladdertimorrow (at Tincol Tincol Little Farm)

A day without power, thanks WP for turning off at 8am instead of 9 so I missed my shower. Oh well at least I have gas, a wood burner and an iPad with some battery left. A couple of weeks ago my husband said that oftentimes he didn't really use a knife or side plate or it didn't get too used so he could wash it off in the sink himself and put it in the dish rack instead of the dishwasher. Well... being a self confessed dishwasher devotee I shrugged and went on in my happy little dishwashing world. Last night it struck me that I hadn't anything any the rack for some time so I guess the sum total of that experiment was these...I'm not sure if he says these things to feel helpful ... chastise me for using the dishwasher too much ... or save on electricity ...but bless his cotton socks for trying..to ...attempting ...to help out???
