the chemistry between these two is so cute. it’s easy to see from the very beginning that there’s some underlying attraction and secret pining going on. the apprehension the pair have about hoseok’s surgery lends the perfect nervous edge to the setting and it’s such an interesting twist to see hoseok go into pre-heat the moment he removes his bandages and catches yoongi’s alpha scent for the very first time. the base need to find an alpha to submit to appeals to any abo lover but it’s also emphasized that hoseok has had feelings for yoongi for a long time which adds a hint of sweetness to the scene. the dirty talk is by far one of my favorite parts of this fic and i love how seamlessly their relationship is taken to the next level. the scent-blind angle brings a new level to the typical abo trope making this even more fun to read for abo fans.
