Alright! Like I mentioned on several posts, I stayed in a hostel back in secondary school. So, here are the pictures of me wearing hostel T-shirts. When I first came there, I wore a black and green T-shirt. But then in 2017, my hostel teacher made a new design; red and black. Plus, the jersey fabric really suits everyone who wears it. Here we go!!!!! It's time to display my memories of my secondary school in Kedah. When I first came to that school, most of my classmates found me somewhat interesting; especially by my talents and enthusiasm. I know, I may be a non-Kedahan, but still, I am human. I have weaknesses too. In 2016, I was chosen as the class monitor. And yes, the struggle is real. Most male classmates don't even respect my opinions, especially the prefects. So, during that year, I experienced a lot of mental breakdowns. Lastly, of course, I was the class monitor mostly because of my strict behavior (which related to me being the eldest daughter in my family). Back in 2013, I went to a private school called As-Sofa Islamic High School. However, my school somehow mixed with primary school students as well. If you look at the first picture, that is the uniform I would wear; white baju kurung, black skirt, and a cream-colored hijab. But then, a few months later, I was chosen as the school prefect since April 2013. So my behavior kinda changed, from someone gentle to someone strict and fierce. 🤣🤣🤣 But sadly, it didn't last long I got the news about moving to Kedah to continue my secondary school studies. Welcome back! I know, this COVID-19 pandemic is NOT over yet. And of course, MCOs are still going on. However, this condition never stops school students to keep learning according to the school syllabus, right? Especially when they have to start their first day of school at home. Here, starting this post, I decided to recap my bright and dark memories of my previous school years. I'll begin with my primary school. I actually went free-haired when I was at ages 7 to 10 years. But of course, kids keep growing up, and yes, they're changes going on. Just like when I went from being free-haired to fully wearing hijabs. On the first two pictures I was wearing my national primary school attires (uniform and sports), while on the last photo, I wore my religious primary school attire. COMING UP! Woah... We must say that today has the highest number of COVID-19 cases ever been recorded. Plus, we feel bad about our boss seeing this. Since the news broke out, she has been crying because of how worried she has been feeling. Besides, she does have lots of friends in Kedah since secondary school. So it's no doubt to see her feeling that way. COME ON, MALAYSIA! Why are we being silent about this? I'm here to say a lot of thanks to the frontliners for helping us to stop COVID-19 from spreading. Your sacrifices are highly appreciated. Also, to everyone out there, I couldn't believe that you guys are still stubborn to go out just because you want to get rid of your boredom of staying home, especially during the CMCO. I have to tell you that staying home is not even a bad thing after all. What are the benefits? 1. Our country's environment is getting much cleaner than before. Less pollution, brighter life. 2. We get to strengthen our ties with our own family members at home. If you live far away from them, you can still use social media such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and so much more to connect and strengthen relationships with everyone. 3. We also get to learn new things by ourselves. We all know that internet can be used for learning, entertainment, and others. So, use this opportunity to learn something new, such as recipes, D.I.Ys, activities, etc. By doing this too, our health conditions will be more improved. 4. We, especially for shopping lovers, can use internet to buy items online from home. From necessities to favourite items, it's also a great opportunity to save money on transportation refuels 😁. Hi, thanks @mycommunityheroes and @sunshinekelly2988 for tagging me. . I'm Dr Yingzangel. Working in MOH during this #CovidEra is by no means easy. . My health facility is a hybrid covid hospital which means that all covid positive cases get admitted and quarantined under the care of the covid team. But we have a separate medical team to provide tertiary level care for non-covid patients. . Both Mr husband and I are caring for the non-covid patients. They can be very ill because most people delay seeking medical attention due to MCO. Sometimes, a small minority of covid patients may present atypically or some patients may not be completely honest about exposure. This is extremely dangerous because other patients and health care workers are not protected and can become easily infected. . This was why almost 100 healthcare workers in Kuantan including both of us had to be home quarantined at one point. Imagine that health services had to be compromised for many because we were crippled by the lack of manpower. . The worst part was the swabs! We needed to have nose and throat swabs done and the results cleared before heading back to work. Honestly, it felt like rubbing onto raw wounds on purpose. Our noses and throats were still aching after 30 minutes. Not to mention that we had to isolate ourselves from the children and our parents while waiting nervously for the swab result as well. . This is a #ThrowbackPhoto of us waiting to be swabbed. The doctors became patients at this point. Therefore, we urge the public to #StayHome, #SaveLives.
