💬 Happy #ShelfieSunday! How are you spending your day? . Today we’re decorating our tree! I’m finally making the transition from fall to Christmas. Which has me curious... if you celebrate, do you get a real tree or a fake tree? . . . h a s h t a g s ⇣ #shelfiegoals #shelfiedecor #rainbowshelves #jamestrevinorepost #mybookfeatures #bibliofeature #bibliophilelife #tumblesoverbooks #mybookishdreams #readersofinstagram #bookstagram #bookgram #readersofinsta #seekthesimplicity #cornerofmyhome https://www.instagram.com/p/CILuM3fnPEf/?igshid=y7aopmic5b9x

I was browsing WordPress earlier today for blogs relating or mentioning within then anything to do with Harry Potter because I, too, am a massive fan and would love to see what things which exist in the fandom can be provided by WordPress.
I then stumbled across this tag here, which I found on the blog belonging to @MyBookishDream – her post can be found on her blog by clicking on the following link: The Hogwarts Tag – @MyBookishDream.
And so, with that being said, here is my contribution to the tag!
1. Are you a Pure Blood or a Half-Blood?
Well, of course, I am not surprised really.
2. Which wand chose me?
Check out the information Pottermore gave about my wand below!
3. Did you take a cat, owl or toad with you?
I would definitely take an owl – preferably a Screech Owl and he would be male and named Braxton.
4. Where did the Sorting Hat put you?
SLYTHERIN! Well, I really am not surprised. Not only have I always believed myself to be a Slytherin but somehow whilst taking the Pottermore quiz I had a strange feeling that the honest answer I gave were going to result in me being sorted into a different house. Luckily, my destiny did not waver and I was sorted into my rightful house.
5. What House did you want to be placed in?
I did want to be put into Slytherin originally (see above) – It was my favourite house whilst reading the books and watching the movies and in my opinion is the most interesting.
6. What lessons are your favourite and least favourite?
My Favourite Lesson: This would definitely have to be Charms, the class in which I could learn every spell I could ever use and even learn hexes … The Unforgivable Curses I would teach myself.
My Least Favourite Lesson: I suppose History of Magic – as much as the subject would interest me, the class is just portrayed to be so dull that I worry it would be.
7. What is your Patronus?
According to my Pottermore, my Patronus is a…
I am actually surprisingly happy with my assigned Patronus.
8. What does your Boggart look like?
My Boggart would most likely take the form of a family member dead.
9. Do you partake in any magical hobbies or school sports?
I would love to play Quidditch – preferably as a Seeker for my house Quidditch team.
10. Where would you spend your spare time?
Hmm… This is a good question. I would most likely spend my time in the Slytherin Common Room and if no there then out by the Black Lake.
11. What would you most likely get detention for?
I would get detention for being out of bed out of hours or even for trying to sneak into the Forbidden Forest. I’m a little too curious for my own good and would wander, especially at night when no one else was around.
12. What career do you want after graduating Hogwarts?
A Magizoologist, without a doubt!
Any so, there are my answers but wait! What with Pottermore’s additional personal quiz and to celebrate the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald on DVD, here is a bonus question!
13. Had you gone to Ilvermorny instead, which house would you have been sorted into?
“Represents the mind & favours scholars.” – Pottermore.

Hey everyone :) I hope you’re all doing amazing!
I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted… Sorry about that! I’ve been taking some time offline and been incredibly busy. But hopefully this week I’ll make up for it!
A huge thank you to Ava @ Reads, Rhythms and Ruminations for tagging me for this and please go check out her blog! It’s full of chibi adorableness, awesome reviews and much more <3
TOTALLY SHOULD’VE GOTTEN A SEQUEL
Weregirl by D.C. Bell. It was revealed recently this one is actually going to get a sequel so not sure if it counts… But yay!
TOTALLY SHOULD’VE GOTTEN A SPIN-OFF SERIES
Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling! I want a Marauders spin-off series so bad… :'(
AN AUTHOR THAT TOTALLY SHOULD WRITE MORE BOOKS
Emily Brontë, who is unfortunately no longer alive. Her short life gave birth to a single novel and many poems, and it’s a tragedy that such brilliance could not live on through more.
A CHARACTER THAT TOTALLY SHOULD’VE ENDED UP WITH SOMEONE ELSE
Celaena Sardothien from The Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas series. But since it’s not over yet, I have the right to dream fruitlessly.
TOTALLY SHOULD’VE ENDED DIFFERENTLY
The Maze Runner series by James Dashner. What the heck was that ending? Ugh. Everything about this series was a disappointment but that was just the last drop.
TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD A MOVIE FRANCHISE
The Left Hand of God trilogy by Paul Hoffman. It just sounds like it would be visually outstanding.
TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD ONLY ONE POINT OF VIEW
The Fearless Travelers’ Guide to Wicked Places by Peter Begler. I’ve mentioned this in my review.
TOTALLY SHOULD’VE HAD A COVER CHANGE
The Winner’s Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski. I just don’t like any of the covers, old or new. They give me a totally different vibe of what the books are really about.
TOTALLY SHOULD’VE KEPT THE ORIGINAL COVERS
The Penryn & The End of Days series by Susan Ee. There’s not a huge difference between them but the font change in the second one just irks me so much. It looks awful and unprofessional… The first one is the self-published kindle edition and the second one the paperback. A third edition came to light a year later and looked a lot better but still not on par with the original one.
TOTALLY SHOULD’VE STOPPED AT BOOK ONE
The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. The second book just felt too much like the first and the third one was just completely unnecessary. Should have made it into a bigger book and left it at that.
