LIKE WAS THE PAST 7-10 DAYS EVEN REAL?? And Rich is back!! (i predicted it too!) Jared’s commercial w/his family was so sweet!

Glorious Mornings
Destiny (Dean/Cas/Benny) + domestic morning fluff :D [AO3]
beta’d by the wonderful @deanshandprint :)
Containts fluff, fluff and domestic breakfast fluff :) enjoy!
These Saturday mornings were definitely the best. Every other week, Dean didn’t need to work on Saturday so the three of them would get the morning in bed together. It was nice like that. Cas curled up into Dean’s side as he breathed heavily still in deep sleep despite it being nine o’clock in the morning. Benny’s arm would be slung over Castiel’s side while the bigger man dozed lightly. Dean was normally the only one awake at this point, watching over his two best friends and lovers. He faced them, hand resting on Cas’ arm, stroking small circles with his thumb. Cas’ head was tucked under Dean’s neck and he pressed a light kiss into the wild black mess before detailing his legs from in between Benny’s and slowly got out of bed, pulling on some pyjama trousers, to make some coffee.
Dean put the coffee pot on and let it fill while he grabbed three mugs, putting two sugars and a dash of milk in one for Cas and just a sugar for Benny.
As he opened the kitchen window’s blind, letting the early morning sun shine into their small kitchen, Dean heard feet behind him on the tiled floor.
“Morning, Benny.” Dean said without even turning round. He could tell it was him as he was much heavier on his feet that Cas was.
“Mornin’ Chief.” Benny grumbled back and took the coffee cup that was being handed to him. He took a sip instantly before putting it down on the counter. Benny padded up behind Dean to loop his arms round the smaller man’s waist as he finished off Cas’ coffee.
A kiss was pressed into Dean’s bare shoulder and Benny’s large hands glided gently over Dean’s soft stomach.
“You’re happy this morning.” Dean commented and craned his neck round to plant a kiss to Benny’s jaw, his cheek grazing against the scruff there.
“Why wouldn’t I be after last night,” Benny smirked and he saw Dean smile and huff a small laugh. “Love you, Dean.”
“Love you, too, Benny.”
“Coffee?” Castiel groaned sleepily behind them, padding into the kitchen in his thin pyjamas and a pair of socks. Both Benny and Dean startled a little before turning round. Dean handed him his mug and watched with amusement as he took several large swallows of it.
Castiel closed his eyes as he let the first washes of caffeine sink in. The other two men knew it wasn’t worth trying to get conversation out of him before a coffee unless they wanted unintelligible grunts.
When Cas opened his eyes again they both noticed how the sun made Cas’ eyes look bright and shiny, glistening like sapphires.
“Morning, Angel.” Dean said, finding it safe to converse.
“Morning.” Cas smiled, he took another sip of coffee before setting it on the counter. He came over to Dean and Benny, giving them both a kiss before searching the cupboard for a bowl and the cereal.
“I was going to make pancakes, Cas, if you wanted some? Benny? What d’ya say?” Dean told them with a grin.
“With honey and blueberries?” Cas enquired. Dean nodded his assent and turned to Benny who had unhooked his arms from around him to drink his coffee.
“With honey and blueberries for you Cas. And bacon for Benny. Just like always.” Dean kissed Cas’ forehead and got a peck to his nose in return. Dean liked this best about their relationship, the difference he got between Castiel and Benny and how they all worked together all at the same time. They never dwelled too much on the logistics of what they had but they knew that their little triangle would never be completed without their third side.
“I could do with a good breakfast.” Cas stated and both Benny and Dean laughed.
“You two go sit while I sort it all out then.” Dean started grabbing ingredients as Benny and Cas took their coffees into the adjoining lounge.
Benny grabbed his book off the side table and drew his knees up, Cas looked at him and Benny laughed and parted his legs to let Cas sit in between.
“Don’t go falling asleep again, breakfast will be ready soon.” Benny reminded him, taking one hand off his book to card it through Cas’ wild hair.
“I won’t,” Cas yawned. “Okay, that was bad timing.” He and Benny chuckled and Benny went back to his book, one that Dean recommended he read. So far he was enjoying it, even if it wasn’t his usual murder mystery.
Dean poked his head round the door frame.
“He sleeping?” he mouthed to Benny, who looked at the younger man who had his eyes shut.
“Angel?” he whispered close to his ear.
“I’m not sleeping,” Cas opened his eyes. “Just resting my eyes.” He gathered momentum and got himself up from the sofa heading into the kitchen. He smiled when he saw three big blueberry pancakes on his plate.
They all tucked in, silence at the small round table they’d bought two weeks after moving in after they found they didn’t like sitting on three sides of a square table. Dean looked up at one point, enjoying the sight of the other two practically inhaling the food.
Once they’d all finished, Benny gathered up the plates and stashed them on the side to be washed up later.
They showered and got dressed and made their way back to the living room, Dean holding up a backpack. They had agreed to go on a drive out to the lake today and packed the small bag with some water in to take with them.
All three piled into Benny’s truck, which conveniently had three front seats. Cas sat in the middle as he was the smallest, though not by much, of the three.
Dean looked over as Benny pulled off; today was going to be a good day.

It's probably like 7 parts fan-service and 3 parts convenience. Because the question then becomes, if not Mark then how would they pull off Lucifer? Would it just be some glowing white angel grace with Mark's voice over? I'm with you, that I'm totally stoked to see Mark back;I adored his take on Luci. But yea I see where the confusion could be *shrugs*
ha, true! if not mark, then it would have to be jared and that would be a little weird. lucifer showed up as jess in a dream once sooo…maybe they could borrow adrianne palicki again? hah. and that’s how jess comes back.
anyway. i’m excited for next week’s episode!

Can we just think about boyfriends Dean and Benny owning a 24h diner together and at some point they find a guy who comes by during the day and asks if anyone has left free coffees and stuff. Then one night Dean finds himself sleeping on the doorstep of the shop opposite, so invites him into the diner and gives him a meal and stuff. And the next day Benny offering the guy a job in their diner which he gladly takes. Both Dean and Benny fall for this mysterious homeless guy that they find out has a very angelic name of Castiel. Castiel gets really good at his job. He's able to chat to weary customers a blend make them feel happier and make the whole diner run smoother and better. Castiel is a little confused by the flirting he's getting from both Dean and Benny but takes it in his stride until one day, months down the line, Benny and Dean ask if he wanted to be... you know... with them... like with with them... Castiel is all smiles then as the pieces fit together, the shameless flirting from both of them and the smiles and touches. He nods eagerly and both Benny and Dean plant a kiss on his cheek.

Six Little Words
SPN Writing Challenge | fallingsnowdean (envydean) vs. @hugitoutwinchesters
Prompt: Christmas Crackers/Bangers
Pairings: Sam Winchester x Castiel
Word count: 1,225
Tags: College AU, fluff, Christmas, College Christmas dinner, asking out
[AO3]
Castiel had written the six words on the small piece of paper several times before his handwriting came out neat enough. The first one he’d spelt something wrong, despite the simplicity of all the words involved. The rest had been illegible script that was nothing like his usual looping, almost calligraphic handwriting, but finally, he was satisfied with what he had.
Castiel folded the paper once and placed it inside the ‘make your own’ cracker alongside a small plastic toy dog. He glued it together before tying small pieces of ribbon round the ends and writing Sam’s name on the side, going over previously pencilled lines.
This was it.
The last day of the semester before the holidays started. They were having a dorm room Christmas dinner. Castiel had been put in charge of table decorations; the others knew what he was like cooking and kept him well away from the kitchen. Food should not be explosive.
There was a knock on his door and Castiel scooted Sam’s currently unwrapped Christmas gift from sight and yelled for the person to enter.
He smiled when Sam entered the room.
“Hey.” Sam greeted, he seated himself on Castiel’s desk chair and spun round to face Castiel who was sat on the floor.
“Morning. Did you sleep well?” Castiel asked, he gathered up the spare pieces of paper lying around from the cracker making and stacked them neatly in a pile before collecting all the rubbish and dumping it in the bin.
“Yeah, kinda itching to go home now. It’ll be nice seeing Dean and Dad again.” Sam told him and Castiel nodded in response. “How are the decorations going?”
“Good. I’ve just about finished. I was just about to go and put everything out. We’re eating in about three hours, aren’t we?”
“Yeah. Brady’s just got the chicken in the oven.”
“They got it all sorted then.”
“Yeah, I peeled all the veg this morning after my run.”
“I will never understand how you get up so early. At all. Ever.” Castiel laughed and pulled himself up from the floor gathering the bits and pieces that would go on the table.
“Pass some stuff to me, Cas, I’ll give you a hand.” Sam said and received the throwaway table cloth and the napkins from Castiel’s hands and led the way back down the stairs to their shared kitchen.
Together, they set the table. Spreading out the red table cloth and then putting the placemats down. Sam got the cutlery from the draws, all mismatched as everyone had their own. Castiel placed the crackers in the right places for the eight of them. Sam sat next to Castiel, it could be awkward if Sam pulled his cracker with someone else. Brady sat next to Charlie and Jo. Then, Tim, Grant and Francesca sat in the other seats. Castiel had taken careful planning of who sat where. It wasn’t that people didn’t like each other, they all got a long very well, much better than some of the other houses around anyway, it was just that some people were better friends that others. Castiel was also sure that there was something going on between Charlie and Jo so sat them together to encourage them to talk to each other.
The table was set and Cas sat at one of the chairs and began to fold the napkins into origami Santas, he’d been practicing over the last couple of days and could now do it without instruction.
Sam sat and watched. Eyes glued to the way Castiel’s deft hand folded the napkin this way and that.
“That’s amazing.” Sam whispered, Castiel still heard it in near silence and blushed.
“Uh… Thanks.”
“And the crackers too, they all have our names on!” Sam grinned and inspected the one with his name on before giving it a teasing shake and smirking at Castiel. He shook his head.
“You’re going to break it.” Castiel teased and moved on to the next Santa.
-\o/-
They all sat at the table waiting on Brady to get the chicken out of the oven and on to their crammed dining table that was full of food.
“Here it comes!” Brady called as he bought the chicken through wearing some gimmick ‘Kiss the cook’ oven gloves.
There was mixture of appreciative sounds as the chicken was put on the table and then served out. Everyone took potatoes and stuffing and vegetables to their plates too, filling them up and then slathering it all with gravy.
“Wait!” Cas said quickly before everyone tucked in. “Crackers first!” Castiel crossed his arms over holding his cracker over to Brady and held on to the other side of Sam’s cracker too. Once they were all linked they all grinned and pulled. A series of snaps filled the room and some of the toys tossed across the table.
Sam pulled out his Christmas hat and stuck it on his head before pulling out the little toy dog and grinning. He then fished out the small bit of paper that would have a joke on.
“I hope you didn’t make these jokes up, Cas, yours are terrible.” Sam winked and unfolded in paper.
He froze.
Sam read the paper several times. Over and over again.
Will you go out with me?
“Cas?” Sam croaked. Castiel blushed and everyone was staring at them trying to work out what was going on.
“So?” Castiel inquired. He twisted in his chair to look at Sam, his face unreadable. Castiel almost regretted doing it when his entire house was in the same room.
“Yes.” Sam said simply. He smiled, put the piece of paper on the table as if it were made of gold and turned back to Cas. “So much, yes.” He reiterated and took hold of Castiel’s face with his big, tanned hands. He leant forward and asked for silent permission to which Castiel nodded, head still swimming from the fact Sam said yes.
They kissed, short, sweet but full of passion and confirmation. The other table occupants were cheering and giggling. As they pulled away, Cas saw Charlie link her fingers with Jo’s. He’d known it.
“Thank you, Sam.”
“Okay! Let’s eat before this amazing chicken I cooked goes cold!” Brady announced and they all dove into their food.
-\o/-
The meal had been delicious, all of them sure that it was the best they’d eaten since the start of their year.
Afterwards they all grouped in Charlie’s room which was on the ground floor, moving their poor excuse of a Christmas tree in the small space along with all the presents they’d bought for each other.
They’d agreed on buying each other gifts that cost less than seven dollars as none of them earned enough to spend much more.
Castiel, though, may have stretched to twelve dollars for a leather bound notebook he’d seen Sam eyeing at the Christmas market in the city. Sam thanked him with a kiss and let Castiel curl up with him, resting against the wall behind Charlie’s bed.
“You’re the best Christmas present ever, Cas.” Sam whispered in his ear as he opened the first page where Castiel had written a short message and a ‘Merry Christmas’.
Castiel sighed with content and took hold of Sam’s arms to wrap them around him with Sam chuckling quietly in his ear.

Lucifer theory-- A) Mark is someone the fandom recognizes so it's easy. B) It's Sam's mind showing us the most familiar form he knows of Lucifer. Even though Sam did say yes and allowed Lucifer his body as a vessel, my money is on the thought that Sam would never accept BEING Lucifer. So we get the image of Lucifer as Nick (AKA Mark) because that's how Sam's mind perceives him. Or how Lucifer is choosing to project himself? Just some thoughts ^~^
i figured your first idea was probably true, but i honestly hope there’s more to it than that - i have a hard time getting on board with choices made purely for fanservice.
your second point actually makes a lot of sense though - obviously sam’s mind wouldn’t be able to comprehend any angel in its true form, so perhaps seeing lucifer as nick is sam’s mind’s way of making the vision understandable (if that makes sense)? and if god is sending the visions, maybe he would allow for sam’s mind to comprehend lucifer in whatever way he’s able. (and i like your point about sam himself not being able to accept himself as lucifer…that’s interesting).
anyway! maybe that’s it. i just really want there to be an actual reason!

Deanbenny 33
Wow, I super duper got carried away with this, it ended up being just under 900 words… but here ya go… bit of angst and injury but I promise it’s all gonna be okay in the end!
(send me a pairing and a number)
DeanBenny + 33. “Please Don’t do this.”
Ithad been a petty argument. One that Dean regretted now.
Hewas angry, stormed out their small apartment. It was raining and he’d left hiskeys inside so he walked. Walked until his shirt was soaked through and histrousers stuck to his legs. He didn’t care though.
Notuntil he heard his name being shouted from down the street. Part of him wantedto get up from the bench, the other wanted him to stay put, listen to whatBenny had to say. He should give him the benefit of the doubt, believe what hewas trying to tell him was true, that he wasn’t screwing the woman in the café theyfrequented during work breaks.
“Dean?”Benny breathed heavily. Turned out, Dean hadn’t moved and now Benny was here, rain dripping from his short, cropped hair and soaking through his jacket.
Deanstood, more abrupt and aggressive than he intended and Benny took a step back.
“Whatdo you want, Benny?” He spat.
Benny’sface seemed to soften though, which threw Dean entirely.
“Iain’t doing anything with that girl, Dean. I promise you that.” He reasoned. “C’mon, come back home, Cher, get out this rain so we can talk properly.” Benny took atentative step forward, arms out as if to embrace him.
“Pleasedon’t do this,” Dean sniffed, he wiped a hand over his face and carded itthrough his hair in frustration. “Not you, Benny,”
Bennylet him stand close, let him shove him back. It was clear Dean needed this.
“Giveus whatever money you’ve got!” A voice shouted from beside them, making themboth jump back. They both turned to see a man with a small handgun in his grip, shaking slightly from either the cold or fear – or both.
Both,Dean and Benny stepped back. Dean had nothing on him, he’d stormed out theapartment with just a short sleeved t-shirt and his jeans. Benny was alreadydigging in his back pocket for his wallet and phone. There wasn’t much theycould give him.
“Here, this is all I have, he ain’t got nothin’ on ‘im.” Benny drawled.
BeforeDean knew it, the man had taken off and Benny was on the floor. He hadn’t evenregistered the gunshot. Dean threw himself down on his knees beside him andtried to pick the bigger man up into his lap.
“Benny?”Dean said with a watery voice. Blood was seeping into the sleeve of Benny’sjacket. “Hey, Benny!”
“I’mfine, chief,” Benny replied, he was dazed a little and his words were slurred. “badshot, got me in the arm,”
“Sonof a bitch!” Dean exclaimed and he tried to hold pressure on the bleedingwound. “We gotta get you to a hospital,” It was then, he realised they had nophone or any means of calling one.
“Mileaway, just walk.” Benny suggested, he was taking deep breaths, trying to calmhimself down.
“We can’twalk, you’re hurt, you idiot!” Dean scoffed, he threaded his free hand throughBenny’s hair.
“Hey,wanna know where I’ve been these past few weeks…”
“Nowyou wanna tell me? You couldn’t have told me before?” Dean demanded, what waswith him, it took Benny getting shot for him to tell him.
“Been, tryin’ to find a ring… Angela was just helpin’ me, her father owns the jewellerystore in town.”
“God,Benny…” Too many thoughts were racing through his head as he tried to digestthe information. Buying a ring? For him? Was he going to propose to him? They’donly been together for four and a half years.
Bennyseemed to catch on to the thoughts going through his head and reached up hisgood arm and cupped it round his cheek. On most occasions they weren’t the mosttouchy feely kind of couple, but it seemed when one of them was lying on thefloor with a bullet in their arm in the middle of a rain storm, it was a goodtime.
“Wasn’tgonna propose to ya, not yet anyway, more a promise ring. It was gonna be atungsten ring with this nice pattern engraved and have this tiny green jade in.Angela found one that looked like your eyes.” His words were getting more andmore slurred as the pain heightened and he lost more blood, but Dean understoodevery word. His heart ached now, like it had when they’d met at the very coffeeshop that Angela owned.
“Wow,Benny…”
“Don’tsay anythin’, I need ta get up,” Benny announced, already trying to sit up fromhis awkward position against Dean’s lap. It was madness that they hadn’t movedalready.
“Alright, come on big guy,” Dean huffed as he stood up and help Benny up with him, thebigger man was leaning against him heavily and it was a chore to walk. Theybegan though, slow, steady pace towards the hospital.
Harshwords and accusations forgotten, and for Dean’s sake Benny asked him to forgetthat he’d mentioned anything about the ring, reminding him that it was supposedto have been a surprise, hence the secrecy.
“Whatring?” Dean had answered, giving him a flashing smile and a wink as the nursestook Benny off him and into a cubical to sort him out.
