Soooooo, THIS happened yesterday! Early access to tickets nets you row 3, seat 3 in the VIP section at Cowboy Stadium in May. U2's Joshua Tree album was THE definitive album of my junior high - college years. I still know every word to every song by heart. Bucket list item - DONE! I almost considered getting the tickets to the Dublin show. After all, that one is during my birth month and Ireland is my dream vacation. The only other group I would pay this much to go see is Queen with Freddie Mercury, and we know that's not ever going to happen. #RIPFreddie I'm thrilled to have one of my closest mom friends going with me! 1 month from today I will be on my way to Israel. At this very moment I will be in a window seat over the Atlantic. Window seats are my favorite! You can see everything! I have always wanted to go to Israel, so beautiful and rich in history. Even more so now since I have found out that I have Ashkenazi Jewish DNA. This is going to be an incredible trip! I'll actually have a room to myself for most of it. Perfect for spending time with my thoughts and with God and to just let it all sink in in the midst of this trip. I'm giddy! I can't wait to step foot in places where Jesus walked, to be immersed in the amazing culture, to experience and learn and grow. Two weeks from today THE CRUISE with one of my dearest friends commences! Starting today is going to be the busiest 2 weeks of my year so far. Starting tomorrow, it's up at 5:15 to have Em to campus for volleyball practice from 6-8 AM. Tomorrow through Thursday it's Paideia camp at Veritas 8-3 and mandatory for all first year families, there's the parent prom Thursday night, then off to Dallas on Friday for Success School at Cowboy Stadium. The following week is packing and getting everything together for the cruise and we are still deciding if Em is going to try out for Club Volleyball on the 13th and 15th.
