me: whew! all done with that drawing. now i can go back to writing tha--

writing muse: (goes back to sleep until they need to be awoken to write an email or something)
me: well... fine. are we at least going to draw the other thing we said we're going to draw a month ago?

#crab chatter#this has been going on for the past couple of days now#my writing muse has been eepy lately#and the art muse is just bouncing off the walls#but no i want to post chapter 1 of NDSY soon#because the deadline for the draft on ao3 is almost up#and yeah i know i can just save it and start a new draft#but i need the deadline to give me a healthy amount of pressure to actually get things done 😅#i'll just thumbnail my drawing ideas and poke my writing muse awake#did i ever mention i actually drew lika dca ocs of my art and writing muse?#heck#i'll add that to the list of things to draw later#they even have some lore#which is basically crab lore haha
